So I finally had my first lucid dream the other night. I was talking to some dream characters and I said to myself that I was dreaming. Then the scene changed and I was in a park/playground, the ones that are made of wood and there's platforms leading up to a slide. Anyways, it felt really weird because I could barely feel myself and so I went to the platforms and started lifting myself up, just to see if I could feel it. I gave up and decided I was going to fly. I jumped up in the air and started to fly but as I continued, I slowly started to go back down to the ground. So, when I landed, I jumped again trying to fly, I said to myself that I would stay in the air. It worked, but I was flying very very slowly. So, I landed and said, I will go high and fast and I started to fly. Then it was starting to turn night in my dream and I saw the stars and got excited and thought I'm going to fly to Neverland. As I was flying, aiming for the second star to the right, my dream faded to black and I woke up. |

Well, you see the thing is that from the moment the lucid dream thing started I was doing things I didn't really plan lol. Like I don't think I would have really gone to pull myself up on those platforms but then again my dream mind might think a bit differently than my waking mind. But I don't really think that matters as much as the fact I was lucid and that was just proof to myself I can go lucid ^_^. So, that was pretty much inspiration to try and become lucid more lol. Speaking of, goodnight. It's 4:30 for me and I'm finally done studying for my test tomorrow lol. I deserve some much needed sleep. |

Haha wow, yeah that's right, you pretty much live on the other side of the Earth, it's 11:20 AM in my country right now. |

Congratulations Chiarra! I quite often forget about my lucid goals when im having a lucid dream. There's often something going on, as i realise im dreaming, that i just tend to interact with to keep things interesting and different each time. Best of luck! |

Congrats and for staying in for a while, most peoples first lucid only last up to 20 seconds (including mine) so for yours to be quite long first time is something! |

Penny: So what do you say Sheldon, are we your X-men?
Sheldon: No, the X-men were named for the X in Charles Xavier. Since I am Sheldon Cooper, you will be, my C-men.
^_^ I will make the goal list and do you guys have any suggestions for mantras that work? And I was actually quite surprised too that it lasted so long lol. Though it did feel short to me lol. Anyways, I was surprised because I kept hearing you will wake up when you realize you're dreaming for the first time almost immediately because you get so excited. But for me, I didn't have to keep calm really, I just stayed calm. I think because I was more focused on the fact I could barely feel my body and that was a weird feeling, especially when I was able to move it normally. So, I think that's what actually helped me stay lucid lol. Still a bit disappointed I didn't get to go all the way to Neverland though lol. |

Mantra can be anything as long as its meaningful for you. For example "I will remember my goals in dream". |
