Ever feel like your subconscious stops you from becoming lucid?

Hi everyone, I dont really know how to discribe this but one of my main goals is to contact my subconscious in a LD but I sometimes get the feeling that my subconscious stops me from becoming fully lucid I dont really know why I get this feeling I just do, anyone else have this or something simular to that?

For me personally, I don't think it is my subconscious that is trying to sabotage my lucid dreaming. I believe it is my conscious mind. Example: I'm dreaming and something really strange is happening. It is like my subconscious is yelling "HEY SHOULDN'T THIS BE A WTF MOMENT!! MAYBE YOU SHOULD DO A REALITY CHECK!! Yet I look at the situation and my conscious mind replies, "What are you talking about? That giant pink kangaroo and his friend the talking chair were hungry and decided to eat my unicycle. I don't see anything wrong here." Then I wake up and say to myself, "How could I possibly miss that dream sign!?!
