First time mirror-portals

Last night was my first time trying mirrors as portals. I tried with this small rectangular mirror, first it was my hand, then I decided to introduce my head and everything I saw was fog, I continued with the rest of my body but I got stuck , so I had to go back and continue exploring the dream environment. Fortunately I found a full body-sized mirror in the next room and I jumped into it, then started to fall in a dark space until I was ... for lack of a better word... spitted out in earth's stratosphere, incredible view btw, but kind of scary and imposing.

Sounds quite cool. Unfortunately, I don't possess a full size mirror (though I do have 7 years of bad luck), so, portals aren't happening anytime soon (unless I spawn one). Were you falling to earth or sort of floating in the upper atmosphere?

What do you mean by not possessing a full size mirror?? you can summon one during LD When I jumped into the mirror it was like 5-10 seconds of falling in darkness, then when I landed in upper atmosphere I began to float.

I can only remember one LD in which I used mirror as portal. I was lucid in our corridor and wanted to get out of there using any means necessary so I turned to the mirror which is roughly about 1,5m in height. I said :' Cya!' to my father and brother that were watching the television and I put my hand trough the mirror, it was like liquid. I inserted the rest of my body within and suddenly felt like turning upside down and then sideways as I felt water dripping all over the place. It was kinda like being inside a tiny tiny waterfall I guess, but there wasn't a moment of darkness. I popped to a street next to playground ^^ Teleportation successful!

That's cool Kilham and Mikasan527! I tried doing this once but I just bounced off of it I'm going to work on it some more though, I think it's a cool and handy way of teleporting.
