      My amazing spontaneous lucid dream.

Some background: I used to be around almost two years ago and I didn't post much - truth be told I wasn't very committed at that point and I left the forums withing a week or so and lost my email password a couple months later. A bunch of personal things happened in the time that I've been gone and I recently had a completely unexpected lucid-dream experience (I'll get to it in a second ) which has motivated me to really put in a lot of effort this time around.

The dream: Basically, I suddenly found myself in some kind of concrete bunker when I noticed a skull. I instantly said "I'm dreaming!" with absolutely no provocation from the dream world. (I have no idea why the skull was there or why it triggered spontaneous lucidity.) I instantly teleported to my TV room on accident when I noticed that things looked a bit weird; everything was soft shade of yellow with some red and green lines running everywhere. I noticed that my TV was also missing and there was a painting of the same skull on the wall that I have never seen before. This was very unexpected and I was obviously not thinking clearly - I'm going to freely admit that my first instinct was to masturbate (it never occurred to me I could've conjured up a bunch of supermodels and had a massive depraved orgy in a realm where physics no longer apply ). I didn't actually do this for very long and touching my own skin felt kind of weird. Next I decided to go in to walls with no problem - however when I tried to fly I could NOT fly. I kinda just floated a few feet above my house and then I decided to go in my neighbors house and lost my lucidity somewhere around there.

Last night I had another one! And this time I could fly! Definitely going to be putting in more effort.

Had another one. I don't really remember specifics tonight but I became lucid and tried to teleport by spinning very fast and when I did I "woke up." I put that in sarcastic quotes because I've tried to WILD several times and I know there would be remnants of a dream and strong hypnagogic imagery so I suspect this was actually a false awakening (didn't try to move because I thought I was awake and wanted to dream-chain so I don't know if there was sleep paralysis). Too bad I didn't attempt to float or see if I was in a dream.
