I've been doing some reading on Carl Jung recently and there's this thing about Anima and Animus that you might want to look into. Basically it's saying that we all have a Male and Female part to us and that being in touch with both creates balance within ourselves. Maybe this has something to do with it, maybe not - just thought I'd mention it.
On a personal note, I tend to understand how it is easier for women (heterosexual) women to find other women attractive. The female form (in my opinion) is pretty much a symbol of beauty itself - something to be admired, cherished, posessed, etc. The female has a \"pulling\" quality towards herself, where I think the male is a more \"pushing\" or \"seeking\" quality. Since we all have both qualities, women (naturally) have the strongest pulling quality in their physical (or biological) appearance that can get the attention of the male \"seeking\" quality in both sexes.
wtf -- what the hell did I just ramble about?[/b]
Lol.
That's a very good point about the Anima/Animus. I've been reading up on Jung lately also, but I didn't even think about it until you brought it up.
And I agree with you about the female form. As an artist, I've always thought that way (as corny as That sounds) but it's also brought me to notice that Most of the females I've observed (as people-watching is one of my favorite hobbies) feel the same way. Even if they are 100% straight, allegedly, many of them can't deny how much more beautiful woman is than man. Sexually, psychologically, they feel the society grown repulsion (that men usually feel on a Much higher scale) from the same sex, but I think that subconsciously that admiration and respect is still there.
And I think that deep-rooted, most likely natural, and quite possibly instinctual attraction just got the best of Angel at that time.
That fact that you had a dream about it, and quite possibly will have again, isn't anything to be concerned of, but probably more something that you will want to analyze while you're dreaming, if it does happen again. Think about how it makes you feel. Are you repulsed by it? You said that one the dancefloor you didn't stop her, but why didn't you? Was it curiousity, or desire? I don't think that either is something to be ashamed of, but they are important to question if you're wondering why the memory is bouncing around in your head the way that it is.
