Razorback, I too feel that my LDs are more vivid/lucid when I'm somewhere else other than my bed.

I find that trying for a WILD other than the place I normally sleep lets my subconscious know that I'm serious in my attempt
and this does help with mind awake/body asleep.

When I want to WILD, I use the WBTB method waking up at 3:30 am and go to my living room couch to sleep.
Sleeping on the couch also ensures that I won't be disturbed by my husband's movement and occasional snoring.
