Is this realy all LD is?

Ok then, if LD are just being able to control what you do in a dream it means ive had loads. DAMN! then that just sucked the fun out of having a lucid dream! There pretty crap then, unlless theres more to lucid dreaming, if there is how do you obtain them since ive been concious of dreaming 1000 of times but nothing good happens. (i cant fly and it seems that my conciousnes of the dream being a dream slips and becomes a normal dream Can you tell me how to make being aware a dream is a dream into a Lucid dream and also make it interesting

You are at the most basic level of lucid dreaming. (There are levels.)
A simple "Hey I'm dreaming" awareness is all that's needed to have a Lucid Dream. This, however, differs from control. Some people can say "Hey I'm dreaming" and not have Any control over their body or surroundings, and some can have full control over their bodies and not know that they are dreaming. Only the first is considered a lucid dream.
Now, with the knowledge that you're dreaming comes the POSSIBILITY of owning your own universe, if that is what makes you happy. Flying comes with lucid dreaming Practice, often. You can only Consciously get better at flying if you are Consciously aware that you are dreaming. This is only one of many things that makes lucid dreaming interesting.
You're thinking of lucid dreaming as "Wow, I'm dreaming. Now what? I can't do anything." And if that was the case, then yeah, that would be pretty boring, wouldn't it. However with practice the possibilities of what you can do with the knowledge that you're dreaming is endless.
Lack of interest in lucid dreaming reflects a lack of imagination. So if you ever find yourself actually bored with lucid dreaming, that is to say that you can't think of anything else interesting about either youreself, to learn or about the endless possibilities of the dream realm. With practice you can do anything. Just because you can't do it now doesn't mean you've exhausted the lucid dreaming experience.

      hay thanx

im able to have total control of body and once i put my head through a wall, pluss i have a HUGE immagination. With practice i suppose i can use a lucid dream to give me some insperation for my novel im doing.

So how should i "level up" from body control, may i ask if its not a bother?

As Oneironaut mentioned, there are different levels of lucidity. I created my own levels to describe my dreams, so I can record in my DJ which level I was able to achieve.

      Levels of Lucidity:
      1. Aware it’s a dream.-
      2. Exercise some dream power (e.g. flying)
      3. Making something appear in some way
      4. Changing dream location
      4. Transforming self

as others have said, there are levels of proficiency in LDing, the same as anything else.

for instance, last night i had my 50th lucid (roughly). it was a low level one. i realized i was dreaming, but couldn't fly or hover, or do much of anything. i lost lucidity after a minute, and it wasn't very noteworthy.

i have also had a high level lucid where i flew above my flooded neighborhood, and then swooped down ran along the surface of the water laughing my ass off. it was one of the most exhilerating experiences of my life. and three other fairly high level lucids.

but by far the majority of my lucids thus far have been low levels. at first i started to think "is this it?", until i had my first high level. believe me, once you have one of those you will never find the possibilities of LDing boring ever again.

when you lucid dream your mind is the ONLY limitation. really let that sink in. imagine the possibilities (endless). and most importantly, practice towards fully real-izing this while you are in lucid dreams.

      good luk

If you're looking how to make lucid dreaming more interesting you could ask a DC for good ideas to futher your interest in fiction writing and/or building a better world [I looked at your profile]. Beyond entertainment there's a real possibility that thru lucid dreaming a person can get in touch with their own higher levels of thought/energies and promote very positive changes in themselves leading to positive changes in others. We all know the world needs alot of positive changes!!

It's all in the head. If you say you can't do it you can't. If you think, "Now I can't LD at all". You won't LD. If you think, (and believe) I am going to LD every night, and have full control, then you'll at least LD occasionally, and as you do it more, you will get lucid more and more often, and have more control. I have only been trying maybe 2.5 weeks adn already I've had 2 LDs (sadly I don't remember them ). There's also plenty of induction techniques you can try, just check out the tutorials section.

      P.S.

How do you quote a previous entry, e.g. booker wrote:
