Thread: Am I in a slump?

Hey guys,

Well I had my first lucid dream after 7 days of trying, however in the past 8 days or so I have had nothing. I was wondering am I just getting lazy and not trying hard enough (could be a possibility), or am I in a LD slump. Have any of you guys had periods of time when you weren't LDing? I am still early in learning but it's just a slight concern of mine.

This kind of thing happens to almost every lucid dreamer. It sucks, but all you can do is be dilligent with your journal, looking for signs, and keep practicing induction methods.

Ask most of the experienced dreamers and you will find that they are either in a slump of have just come out of one.

It has been 3 weeks since my last lucid dream, but that is normal for me. Mine tend to come in clusters. I will go sometimes 4 weeks without one and then have a few days in which I am lucid every night or have 3-4 LDs in a single night.
