My first post - wonderful LD experience!

I had an amazing sort of LD a while back: (sorry it's a bit long!)

I was at a house party in a room where most of the other revellers were far too relaxed. Most were almost asleep, some had coupled up, others lolling alone. I began to concentrate very hard then started to levitate. I floated up, slowly and controlled until I touched the ceiling and could go no further. I was disappointed and remember thinking 'but I want to go higher'. When I touched back down a man came out of nowhere and said he'd seen what I'd just done and thought it was amazing - 'how did you do it?' I told him that you have to practice, concentrate very hard and focus all your energy and attention on the act of being able to float. Eventually, I told him, you'll do it.

I moved to another part of the house where a much more lively bunch had gathered. The lighting was quite subdued, there was music and people were dancing. Across the room I saw a man leaning against the wall looking right at me. I knew instantly that my imagination had put him there as a symbol of what I find the epitome of attractiveness. I felt drawn to him and moved slowly across the room towards him. I whispered in his ear, getting quite close to be sure he could hear me 'you knew I was going to come to talk to you?'. He said that he did and added 'this isn't your kind of place and these are your kind of people'. 'No', I agreed. 'When you find where you should be and who you should be with, you'll know instantly', he offered, 'trust you intuition and wait, your time will come'. He moved in closer and whispered, his lips almost touching my ear 'now, WAKE UP'.

At that very moment I woke up in bed and opened my eyes. I could still hear his words ringing in my ear and the wind of his breath.

Strangely comforting. I didn't believe in such things as Guardian Angels 'till this point!

      Thanks!

I only really remember the dream from just before I levitated and I was pretty much lucid from there..

Usually, sometime during a dream, I become 'aware' that I'mb actually in control.. There's a trigger or something or I decide I want things to be different and suddenly 'realise' it's a dream..
