      Questions Questions and Experiences.

I have been observing the forum for quite a while and I am really interested. I have always known about lucid dreaming in my subconcious I think.. Because there was always somthing that I knew but I didnt and it really came to me when my friend was talking about LDs. I was over his house and he had some crazy mp3 file that was supposed to make you control your dream. I was like.. "Heck why not". I just had this strange sense I already knew about lucid dreams.

Edit: I remember when I was very young I had this dream that was so realistic. It was like I knew I was dreaming. It was extremely fuzzy like the bright bright sun in my face. I kept focusing and focusing on my gameboy and I wanted to see it so badly. But I focused so hard I think I woke up. I realise now that this could have been a near-lucid experience.

Somthing I am proud of is Dream Recall. Ever since I was old enough to really remember things I could remember dreams. I have even kept a dream journal since 8. It was always natural for me. I liked it a lot too! Recording them is quite fun and I never have trouble remembering any details. The only exceptions are when I drink caffine and stay up late. This interferes heavily with your dreams I believe.

Anyway I know all of my dream signs. There is slight consistency in them. 80% of the time I dream it is somthing with nuclear war, the world ending, games, barren places, machines, futuristic things. Very weird things. I am always the person in the dream and am usually the one that knows all the stuff and is good at whatever is going on.

I have been trying a lot and studying LDs and I haven't been able to do it. I'll be in a dream but my mind doesn't remember to actually say I am in a dream. I usually 75% of the time KNOW im in the dream but can't take that small step. I even try playing the lucid induction mp3 where a man is telling you you are dreaming and stuff every now and then. In the background is strange sounds to stimulate your mind or somthing. Anyway I can't sleep very well with this on. HOWEVER, with using it I experience more dreams and I come out rested. I find it really intriguing. I need advice on how to actually get my mind to LD. I do reality checks in the day, I think it before I sleep, its big for me!!

Also.. PSI got me REALLY interested. I thought I experienced this once because I was so intent on starting a fire and it felt like I was actually trying to make it just start that I saw somthing go up. It was a quick flash and it was really weird. I can't really explain it well and I wasn't using matches. I dont know any of the Psi Terms.. Gyrokenisis, pyrokenises... I dont know what any of it is. Could somone show me a link or explain all of the PSI things discussed here!?

Hello & welcome to DreamViews Forum TheEnergyIsAroundUs

You sound facinated by many things.
It looks like it is just a matter of time until you break over to a lucid dream. You have everything in place.!

I question so many things that our minds a capable of.
But that has two sides to it.
On one side I thinks our minds are capable of many many things we are yet to gain control of. Such as PSI abilties, dream Sharing and possibly astral projection and OBEs.
However on the flip side, our minds to are capable of manifesting false images and hallucianations given the right curcumstances. Our imagination can manifest very life like circumstances.
