      Improvement...I hope!

Last night I was dreaming, having a bit of a bad dream. Then i realised I was dreaming. It usually just stops here, but it carried on. The dream started fading a few times so I did the spinning round thing. The whole dream changed into ths dream where I was a wizard, learning new things. And I actually controlled things! There was a teddy bear sitting on a table, and i managed to make it float. I had a trainer guy saying well done and everything. I tried to make myself float but i couldnt But to get it to work i had to close my eyes and think! does anyone else do that?? I kept doing reality checks- reading text, noticing that it was changing etc. But I couldn't control everything, because I was still part of this storyline, and after a while I think I lost the control. I have one main question, and that is- when you are in a lucid dream do you have absolute freedom of thought? For example, can you think "I wonder what time it is REALLY?" Or "Oh, It's monday tomorrow." Looking back, i probably would have walked straight out of the door of the house i was in when i was dreaming, or jumped out of the window or something. But i didn't think of it. And when I woke up, I didnt remember the dream till a few minutes later and it didnt seem that significant at all! Now i'm confused whether or not I was actually controlling my dream or if i was just dreaming that i could because i wanted to be able to do it. Anyone help me work it out?

The defintion of 'lucid dreaming' is that of being aware that you are indeed, dreaming. So you were lucid, but not in 'FULL CONTROL'. Many people prefer not to take full control, but full control can be sometimes very pleasurable.

      So congrats on your lucidity!
