Hi.
I've been interested in lucid dreams for about a month, but wasn't having huge success. I've been quite diligent with my RCs, and was frustrated when the 'finger-palm' test failed me during a short dream.
Last night, I tried one of those lucid dreaming mp3s, but I was still awake when I should have been in deep sleep so I stopped the mp3 and rolled over. I entirely forgot about lucid dreaming and eventually fell asleep.
I woke up again, and looked at my watch 11:00 (geez, I slept in), I looked again 11:40 I checked once more, and it was 11:33. I thought to myself, 'I must be dreaming!'. I got out of bed and walked over to the landing, and attempted to move a pack of cards by telekinesis, but failed, after which I woke up.
The thing that I found wierd (but logical) about my LD was that, although I knew it was a dream, it felt 100% real. Everything was vivid, and I remember thinking, this is almost too real to be a dream. It felt to me as if I had done an RC in real life, which told me that I was dreaming, but was being told from all angles (even myself) that I was in reality.
Anyway, i'm pretty happy I finally had a lucid (even though it was only a tiny amount of lucidity), and I hope to learn more about LDing soon
I also have an odd feeling that posting here will start a dry spell , but I sure hope not.
