Some odd, somewhat scary stuff coming from WILDs.

I remember when I used to (that's right, used to, I just can't seem to lucid dream anymore, it's more than a dry spell, I just can't do it anymore) I'd feel myself enter the dream. A loud, warping sound would come and it would feel like I was being sucked into another world. I would always start the dream in my bed. I'd try to get out, but I couldn't. I'd slowly, and slowly get up and at a certain point I couldn't move any further, no matter how much I told myself I had complete control of the dream. Then some really, really scary stuff happened. Things in the room would shake, I'd hear crazy noises, and the TV would turn on and start doing weird stuff, and sometimes I couldn't get out of the dream.

Happens to me all the time. I realize that I'm in a dream, and all i need to do is "get up" out of bed and go about my dream business but sometimes I can't get out of bed.

I don't know what the hell it is. When you try to get up, are you able to move anything at all? I mean, is your dream self able to move an arm to roll over?

I have this problem sometimes. And I wish i knew what was going on. It seems my dream body is fighting sleep paralysis. Sometimes, I'm not even in bed, but paralyzed in a dream somewhere else, although this is a very sparse occurance. Maybe happened only once or twice.

It seems for me that if i use all my mental and physical ability I'm sometimes able to rip myself out of bed and have a successful LD, other times I can only lift an arm that seems like it weighs 100 lbs only to have it fall back into bed. It's like everything has the gravity of jupiter.

I think you're right on the verge of being able to LD again. The only thing you need to do is break out of that paralysis you have and you'll be free in the dream world. I would suggest that you just relax and try to let the feeling of paralization pass.

Heh, I don't even get these lucid dreams anymore, they took place a long time ago.
