      Finally!

It has seriously been months upon months since my last real lucid dream where I specifically remember saying to myself, "I'm dreaming!" Unfortunately I lost lucidity pretty quickly, but this was cool to me anyway.

I was walking around and suddenly I hear about a lion that's walking around, and soon enough I see him. He's divided into two parts vertically (with something like cardboard in the middle of each part) but it's still as if I see him as one. I know this is Aslan and I get very excited, as I've been hoping to see him in a dream. So, knowing that there's no way I'd get to have this kind of encounter in real life I said, "I'm lucid," and then, "I'm dreaming." He speaks to me and I bury my hand in his mane. He was quite soft Then he tells me that he is divided and then asks, "Do you understand?"

I say that I understand and actually do, but upon waking I don't recall what exactly what I was thinking. So, since there's been maybe only one other time I was asked that question in a dream, I really want to puzzle this out. I don't mind that I lost lucidity because I had no desire to control what was going on at the time. It was just sweet to stand before the Lion of Judah.

Too bad C.S. Lewis didn't write C# or .NET.... but hey, we can dream. [/badpun]

I actually started reading the Screwtape Letters (and still have it somewhere in my room, I think), but I didn't get too far into it. I've had so much to read the past couple of years! I should pull it back out, though. I think I'd get more out of it now that I'm a couple of years older

i think i have. its partially written from the perspective of Satan, is it not? sending messages to underlings about how to steal our souls

it was pretty well written, if that's the one i'm thinking of..
