My last lucid dreams were a double header, with a false awakening between them.

In the first I was dreaming that a large flock of blackbirds landed in my back yard. I wanted to walk through them, but fearing they would fly off, I chose to just float over them a few inches above the ground. As I was floating, I realized I must be dreaming, to defy gravity like that. I then took off, heading to the nearest tree branch--I like to perch for a while on a tree and decide what to do next. This time, though, I couldn't reach the branch. The dream started to fade, so I tried spinning, but that didn't work because I was up in the air; I usually need my feet on the ground to spin well. So I rubbed my hands together, and that brought the dream back into focus. Then I woke up...

...or thought I did. Thinking I was awake, I found myself in a dorm room, lying on my bed, while my two roommates sat talking across the room. We chatted for awhile; I told them about my LD, then I fell back to sleep...

I immediately entered a second lucid dream. I was on a wooden dock built several feet above the surface of the ocean. I felt an overwhelming urge to jump in, and I did, sinking like a stone. I wanted to explore a little, but the water was so muddy I couldn't see anything. I surfaced and dove several times with the same result, and finally gave up and took a walk on the beach instead. I was having a wonderful time talking to several sunbathers, when I registered a barking dog; my neighbor's. This woke me up for real.
