      The verge of lucidity

Background: I retired at 7:20 p.m., slept to 12:30 a.m. - recorded dreams, back to sleep, awake at 5:30 a.m. - recorded dreams, back to sleep, awake at 7:30 a.m. - recorded dreams, back to sleep before 8 a.m., awake at 8 a.m. and recorded last dream and up for day. (I slept a long time as I had just come off working night shift.)

      The time: 8:00 a.m.

The dream: I see a bed in an unfamiliar room. It is being made or a white sheet is being placed upon it. I do not remember seeing any hands making it, nor do I recall if I was the one making the bed.
Shannon Doherty is in the doorway of the room.
She tells me that a ritual needs to be performed before the bed can be slept in, consisting of putting it in moonlight, which will cause a grid pattern to form over the bed. Since the moon was waning(I believe I knew in my dream the current moon phase), there would have to be a spell performed to ensure that no one slept in the bed before the ritual was performed. The other cast members of "Charmed" were standing behind Shannon and they all had a part to read of the spell.
(No, I don't watch Carmed, but my wife does, so I'm familiar with the characters. I also saw a preview of a movie yesterday on tv in which Shannon was starring, so perhaps that made her figure in my dream.)
Shannon began reading the spell. I had a copy that I was reading silently. The paper was black and the text was light grey. It seems I was able to read the text until a point at which one sentence was grammatically incorrect. It read something like : "The goal is to the the..." (or pretty close to that.)
When I read that line, I realized that it didn't make sense and at that point I woke up. Or, perhaps I became aware that what I was reading was incorrect and nonsensical.

I consider the dream a significant step toward achieving lucidity.

There are only a couple of times in my life that I remember trying to read a dream text and was unable to do so. In this dream I was partially sucessful.

I have been noting my dream signs and mentally affirming that I will remember my dreams upon awakening and that I will experience lucid dreams.

I've been studying lucid dreaming material and keeping a dream journal for the last three weeks.

Looks like your very close. Keep up that good work. Once you finally do attain Lucidity (you might know this already) it's important to remember not to get to excited or you'll wake yourself up before you know it.
