lucid task i thought up
----go to a past memory in an LD and tell us about it----
the memory would have to be from at least a year ago and you would have had to have thougt of one to go to before your lucid
if you did this we could see what deviations our mind puts in, personally im going back to my first day of school

ya seriously lol, that'd be awesome if we could change our past actions. but then we'd all be perfect. so i guess it is funny this way. though sometimes, life is a BITCH. anyways i guess i dont relaly have anything to add to this post . . .

I know I dont have to say this but....
If you went back and changed what you did(the wrong thing) to what you should have done(the right thing) then you would never go back to change it in the first place.

PS. im not talking about how it would be great if we could change our mistakes im just wondering about the power of the human mind (go to a happy memory you wouldnt change not a sad one)

this is an awesome suggestion.
however, i'm not nearly proficient enough at maintaining lucidity to pull it off quite yet
i'd almost certainly just get lost in the dream, even if i did manage to go back to a past memory.
although i hope i remember to try it sometime, in the future.
