Looking into a mirror during a LD

Has anyone looked into a mirror during a LD? I have found that when I do this, many times I don't actually look the way I do in real life. For some reason I always appear to be around 10-15yrs older. Even when I ask family members or friends in a LD to examine themselves in the mirror, they too note differences in their appearance.

I've seen all kinds of freaky things in mirrors, usually, I am somewhere near my current age, but I have been much younger.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Two nights ago I had a dream in which, while it wasn't lucid, I looked into a mirror and I appeared 10-15 years older. I had grey hair and goatee.
I don't remember if I have ever looked in a dream mirror before, by the way.

I'm usually exactly identical to how I currently am. Sometimes even the clothes that I wore that day are on. The only instance where I wasn't the same, was when my eyes looked cloudy during one of my first lucid dreams and it really freaked me out.

I've examined myself in detail, and my mind constructed me perfectly. I mean right down to the color and grain in my eyes (I always check my eyes when I look in a mirror after that first time when they were cloudy).

I haven't tried it yet, but does anyone think that maybe the reflection is what you want it to be? I also think it's just what one's mind knows your reflection to be. Like your mind can creat other people easier because it's actually seeing them, but it can't see your own face as much so it guesses.

When I look in a mirror I usually look very wild-looking, with dilated eyes, not sure why.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

In one of my dreams(was lucid too) I looked into a mirror while brushing my teeth. I don't think I saw anything strange but my clothes glowed from the effects of a black light which led to me becoming lucid . But nonetheless, I'm sure there's a lot that can occur while looking at a mirror.

One of my lucid dreams I looked practically like a zombie, really haggard and messed up. My eyes were barely open and it looked like something was wrong, although I could see fine in the dream. I tried to open my dream eyes more, but it had little effect on the reflection. I tried to lift my eyelids with my hands, but they dropped back down as soon as I let go. The other times, I usually looked like I did when I went to bed.

I am very rarely myself in dreams. When I am, though, my hair is alwasy waist-length, when in reality it is very short. (This is how I pick up on false awakenings ^^ )

I have done this twice now, and have noticed nothing out of the ordinary.

Except that the first time, the lighting on my eyes was slightly wrong, as if they were in daylight, when actually my room was quite dark.

It was quite funny, I looked just like I had just got out of bed. My hair was scruffy, and some of it was tied back, and I even had the right pyjama combination on (I mix and match them).

Have you ever tried using mirrors as portals into another dream scene? I used to do that quite often. Just put your hands throught and then the rest of your body.

OK I had my first Lucid dream last night and looked into the mirror. My fears never came to pass, but my face was a mess. My reflection's face was almost litterally covered in zits. It was gross, but I was Lucid already so I joked, I was like "Hey good lookin'. Hopefuly I'll be able to make light of later, more scary, rreflections.
