Another dream within a dream - Thanks Howetzer!

Howetzer, it must have been because I read this thread http://dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=27502 and was thinking about it quite a bit yesterday, but this happened last night. Really cool.

Our office was going on a picnic to some local park, there are about 75 of us.
I remember the bus ride, all the joking and cutting up. Everyone was in an happy mood, somehow our manager had managed to catch his computer on fire earlier in the day. I mean really on fire, flames coming out of the CD slot like a flame-thrower, people diving for cover because they were afraid it would explode, lot's of fun!

Anyway we arrived and got off the bus. Everyone was milling around, but I had to pee. When I finished and returned outside, everyone had left. I searched everywhere for them. No luck, just not around.

I decided, oh well, maybe I can nap and maybe have a nice LD. So I got into my car (which was strange since I arrived on the bus) and went to sleep.

I found myself in a lucid dream, really lucid like Howetzer described, not dreaming I was lucid. Goody! I went in search of a mirror so that I could continue my research on modifying dreamforms.
I noticed an RV sitting in the parking lot and went into it's bathroom. Sure enough, a mirror.
I began concentrating on changing form, hmm, when did I grow such a thick set of hair on my stomach. Have to work on that first.

I felt the dream begin to fade, Noooo, not yet, I just started! I began spinning and found myself semi-lucid. I concentrated, 'Increase Lucidity!' and my lucidity was beginning to firm up.

      *thump**thump**thump*
      what?????
      *thump**thump**thump*

I awoke back in the car, it was now evening and someone was banging on the drivers side window to wake me up.

"Hey, man", a friend asked, "where you been, we came back to get the wine!"

I got out of the car, well crap, another LD interrupted.

Anyway, I went off with my friends. At this point, I realized I was in a dream and became semi-lucid. Not for long though, just a few minutes then woke up for real.

Yep nice Seeker, I haven't done that in years but I still remember the feeling like it was yesterday. Those dreams within dreams are fun.

I'm with Howetzer on this, wonder how many nested dreams you can have.

Being an old C++ programmer, I wonder about such things as stack size and pointers.... wonder if there is a limit.

Wonder if you can lose your return pointer...

seeker, C++ programmer aye? cool I'm an old C programmer, I was always too C l337 to do the ++ part

I know of someone that is a game programmer, and he tells me that many times when he works on a single problem for the entire night and cannot solve it, he comes up with the solution in his dream.. sometimes being a lucid dream, it is kind of weird how he describes it... sounds kind of like the ultimate Compiler program with a virtual reality interface.. weird but COOL

as for dreams within dreams, that also reminded me of functions within functions in C/C++ like seeker was saying, as for a limit, well, I doubt are mind would let us break that limit if there is one, but I don't know...

C++ right now, doing some stuff with .NET and COM also.
I started on an old 8080 based machine in assembly language.

I can remember the early 80's when C compilers didn't generate warnings worth a hoot. Man some of the pointer problems I've created!

I had a dream, wednesday, in which I found myself in jail... somehow I moved through 3 small cells, and then I was told I will spend 15 years there *shrug*... So I just get on a bed, and thought "hey, I may fall asleep, and have a LD now" and I jumped to different dream...
