Thread: My lucid

This has been the best ld yet.

I started out on drive of my house (just getting dark) in this dream my hand had fallen off so I was running inside for help but when I looked down at my hands I was carrying my fallen off hand in my left and another and had grown in its place on the right I suddenly realised I must I must be dreaming I was so exited I almost lost it and the scene started to become blurry so I span swiftly and it worked I was now fully lucid!
I spotted my mum coming down the drive way and up to door, I followed, she tried turning the handle to the door but it just wouldn’t budge, she began to come red in the face so I raised my hands towards the handle and willed it to be open , and sure enough as I turned it it did
I ran inside and through the house out into my back garden and spotted my trampoline J
Maybe I could use my trampoline to bounce and fly off.
I ran and jumped onto the trampoline only to find it was broken ( all floppy instead of tight)L
My dad came out and told me to put that thing away and come inside I pondered on the thought of running away but I decided to step inside into the living room.
All my family were seated on couches silently and a few seconds went past with absolutely nothing happening, I suddenly realised I didn’t have much time so I turned around to my dad and said “Do you know your not actually real and are a simple dream character?” he said nothing “ Well how do you feel?” I said “Dunno” he replied rather stupidly I decided there wasn’t going to be much action going on here so ran back out into my street where there were two men walking about I shouted to the first “Do you know your not actually real and are a simply a dream character?” He stopped in his tracks , looked over his shoulder ,and ran off as fast as his legs could carry him ( he was wearing a red hoody, jeans and had black hair , I couldn’t see his face) I tried to catch up with him but I remembered the other guy was still wandering back at my street so I ran back and asked the slightly older man the same question he looked at me disgusted and walked off. (blue shirt , jeans , grey hair and glasses) I started to walk up my street up to the main road as I walked I remember seeing my reflection in the pavement I seemed to have been wearing a giant navy rain coat It was so big on me I looked like an Eskimo.
As I was walking I started to think of all the things I could do in this dream and all the power I had I felt like king of the world, by now I was on the pavement near the main road I watched as cars whizzed by I decided to try and freeze the cars so I could get a closer look at the dc’s but no matter how hard I tried it just wouldn’t happen.
I spotted a woman who pulled up in a big red pickup truck ( white tank top, black hair, couldn’t see what she was wearing on her legs, she was very dirty and greasy she looked kind off like a mechanic) she seemed to be planning something , for some strange reason I had the urge to look at her face but I couldn’t as she was turned away from me , so once again I tried to freeze time (even though I could have walked over to her) no luck.
Then there was a disembodied voice much like a game show host.
“Hey have you seen what’s going on over there?”
Curious I looked to the opposite side of the road to see a elephant being lifted up by what looked to be an African hunter who threw the elephant in slow motion along the floor where it tumbled and landed on one leg very awkwardly snapping it almost in two another of the hunters threw a spear towards the still tumbling elephant , it whizzed threw the air towards the elephants injured leg cutting it off completely.
Then I woke up.

So what do you think?

great LD. lost of stuff going on ,.....next time you should maybe make a check list of things you want to do in your lucid dreams. or keep practicing your "willing" power, eventually it should get better.

Yeah thats one thing i need to improve on is will power any one got any tips or general comments?

Well the only advice on control that I could offer would be to tell you not to Try to make something happen, too much. Instead just Know it's going to happen, and observe it happening. Stopping time is usually pretty hard for me too, but things like flying, and maybe even freezing the cars, individually, usually work better when you just give yourself the declaration that "That car Will Stop" and it should be a little easier than Trying to make it happen with your mind. But you did pretty well with other things, so you seem to be getting the hang of it. 8)
