Oh My God!!!!!!

I had my first Lucid dream experience lsat night! After stumbling upon this site a few days ago and reading about Lucid dreaming for, literaly, ten or so minutes, then talking on this message board with a couple of people...... It happened in my dream last night!!! Not only once, but TWICE! I always have this problem where I can't find my boyfriend in my dreams, and last night I had a dream that I couldn't find him and I was in this dark tunnel and couldn't get out (also one of my reacurrances) this booming voice came and said "you are in control" and "you will find a way out". Then a few seconds later I found a door! Then I was looking for my BF and couldn't find him outside (we were at the beach) and the same voice came and said "you are in control" and "you will find him" and then I looked around and took a few steps and there he was..... Looking forward to see what more this will bring! Thanks for listening. Any thoughts? Wild Dreamer Girl

Just curious. You found your friend in the dream but were you aware it was all a dream wile it was happening?

Yes I was aware that it was a dream. After I heard the voice the first time, I knew that it was a dream and that I was in some control over what what was happening. is this a Lucid Dream or am I totally off? I am pretty excited about it! Wild Dreamer Girl

Being Lucid doesn’t imply control it implies awareness. Being cognitive that your dreaming wile you are dreaming. Control is a benefit of this mindfulness.

Bit of an odd question but is your BF alive? strange you would look for him in a dream? if you see what I mean.

Congrats! this sounds like a semilucid dream so buckle up you're in for a wild ride. Now one thing I noticed is you may have a good dreamsign here so I would suggest that anytime you think of your bf (miss or want to see ect) you also check your awareness, this includes the usual reality checks. Here's hoping you have another tonight!
