Hey there Astromancer, welcome to the site, and congrats on your first LD -- however short it may have been. Keep working at it, and I'm sure you'll stretch those lucids out and be able to do all kinds of amazing things. |

I had a two seconds lucid dream last night. It was intense; I could see colours and lights and things so clearly and brilliantly n sharply. I was in my room, floating upwards towards the ceiling looking out of my window as the blinds beautified colourful lights that were outside. Then it vanished, and I was suddenly wakefully conscious. |

“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” (or better yet: three...)

No theory, no ready-made system, no book that has ever been written will save the world. I cleave to no system. I am a true seeker. - Mikhail Bakunin

lucid dreaming doesnt just unlock potential for the telekenesis and shared lucid dreams |
|
Why?
[qoute="Gus"]dreams take place in the astral you have access to every bit of knowledge ever experienced here on the earth, or any other planet, or any sun for that matter[/quote] |

It is a very aazing thing to be a part of... I for one am VERY glad I found out about this... Just think though, when we are asleep, we are in a LIVING thought. Those that have been there know how real it is, how we can interact with it all... It is another reality somewhat. Where does this take place? In the mind? No, it cant be just an extension of thought, it is too real, too deep for thought. Thought is a picture, a moment you remember almost, lucid dreaming is a whole different thing. ..When you go to sleep, and have a lucid dream, we seperate ourselves from the animals, BUT where does this 'new world' we experience take place? We are almost in a new universe, a new plane. Our 'souls' are made of energy, electricity, and who is to say that when one sleeps we do not become 'one' with the energy around us again... |
|
God, grant me the courage the change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference...
Reality itself is a dream. By far the majority of this universe is built of nothingness - dark-Mata or whatever. Our imaginations produce what we see, hear, smell, feel – everything, all of it is imagination's interpretation of the physical universe. My opinion is our consciousness (whatever that is) is free from our senses and their interpretation whilst sleeping. I would love to believe there are mystical aspects of lucid-dreaming – indeed I DO deep down – but that I cannot without much doubt. LDs could simply be the produce the vast proportion of our ever-wake subconscious. |
