      Two More Lucid Dreams

This might sound really weird, but every single learning more about lucid dreams, I seem to have the ability to turn them on and off at will. For instance, last week after reading for hours about it online (including this site), I went to bed and almost immediately had to WILD's. Both times I knew I was dreaming. The first dream I thought it in my head, felt myself in bed paralized as usual, and then forced myself to wake up.

The second one, I told myself aloud: "I'm dreaming right now". Then suddenly I heard a loud buzzing in my head. I've had that buzzing before, it's scary. Once again I forced myself to wake up.

Then the nights following, I decided that I didn't want to lucid dream because I'm such a darn scaredy cat. And I haven't.

Anyone on here able to do this? I've decided to have another one tonight. I will post on this thread tomorrow and let you know if I was able to do it...

And there's me thinking the opposite. Your dreams certainly shouldn't be scary when you make them exactly as you want them to be

I never let myself get too far into the dream before forcing myself to wake up. I am trying to work on conquering my fear.

Anyway, I did indeed have at least one quick lucid last night. I "woke up" in front of someone's door. I didn't even have to tell myself that I was dreaming- I already knew. I'm not sure whose door it was or anything though. I yanked myself out of the dream within 30 seconds.

Hopefully one day soon I'll conquer my fear and actually stay in a dream long enough for something good to happen!
