      Can this be counted as a LD?

      It was a FA, and I woke up in my computer chair which is the chair I'm sitting in right now. The blinds were open and sun had a golden reddish color like when it rises and sets. The windows face the west so the sun was setting. However I said to myself in these exact words "This sun can't be out like this, I just woke up to go to school. The sun's is never out this early. This HAS to be a dream." and then I woke up for real. This dream was about 5 seconds and I realized it was lucid in the last 2 seconds.

      Can I count this as my 2nd lucid dream in 3 days and my 2nd ever?
      Wait!! .......Am I dreaming right now?
      LDs: 8
      Most LDs in one night: 3

      In my opinion, yes. As long as you realized that you were dreaming before the dream ended, then you were lucid dreaming, however short it was.

      Yes you can count it as a Lucid Dream, you realized that it was a dream..even if you were to say "I'm dreaming" and exactly 1 second later u wake up, its still a lucid dream..because u realized u were dreaming..just like your quote above...congrats on your 2nd LD, you shall have many more to come
