I think that is cool. I haven't levitated things since I was young. You reminded me of something I need to try again now that I'm older. |

I hope this topic hits home with others here. I was in the back room of my house with a friend watching a movie (I'll say more about the movie shortly). I must have fallen asleep without noticing because when I 'awoke' I was in my back room still but my friend was gone. I found this strange but concluded he might have left after I had fallen asleep. I reached for my lighter that was sitting infront of me on the table. To my surprise the lighter shifted forward as I reached for it. After this happened I sat and thought for a short time about what had just happened. I was more confident I was dreaming now but I was still not sure because the room was completely convincing, everything was exactly replicated. I reached for my lighter again and again it moved. I saw other small objects, I am not positive but I think they were individual match sticks. When I put my finger by them they shot off the table and into the air. I then returned back to my lighter and this time I was ready to push this to see how much I could do. I placed my hand above the lighter and levitated if off the table, once in the air i started to spin the lighter in a tight circle. I then placed my left hand below the lighter and I was able to turn the lighter so that it was now verticle. I continued to spin the lighter for sometime, I was greatly entertained by all of this. I heard my family off in the kitchen so I put down the lighter and went to tell them what was happening, I was still uncertain if this was a dream or if I was awake. However, once I started talking to them they ignored me and I walked into our living room where something caught my attention and then I knew I was dreaming. After I was sure it was a dream I floated off my feet for short period of time and then I awoke. To my amusement my friend was still at my house and he was sleeping too. I even tried moving my lighter as a reality check. Coming back to the movie that was playing, the movie is Primer. It's an independent film about these two engineers who are trying to develope a device to lower the gravity around an object. If you haven't seen it I high recommend it, and they end up with something completely different than what they set out to make. I just found it interesting that I was watching this movie when I fell asleep and I am wondering if it had some kind of impact on my dream. All comments welcome, dream to the depths!! |
