Thread: Right or Left?

The Right brained people are more creative and I believe it would be easier for them to have "fun" in the LD. But the Lefties are more organized and would have a better chance of deciphering real from the surreal in order to "awake".
I am totally right- brained and I am loving it. But my dreams are often so crazy that it feels like shooting lizard things on a spaceship is normal.
What do yall feel about this?

Definitely right. I never have any 'normal' dreams. there are devices in my dreams that sometimes dont exist. for example, my school in my dream had a file drive that didn't exist, and a hospital i was in had this old-fashioned looking drive that went into this TV. a camera was injected into my bloodstream, and it was about the size of a red blood cell. it recorded throughout my whole body, and the video was put onto that drive. it was definitely weird.

I am balanced i think...I dont know, i used to have crazy dreams, but now they seem to be only about school...

well, i think the 'right/left' thing is more symbolic than literal.

however....i used to be primarily right-brained, until three or four years ago when i cultivated logical, sequential thinking to sort out certain things in my life.

now i find it hard to regain the full extent of my previous creativity, and even find it hard to visualize/compose music/etc.

i'd say i'm fairly balanced though. lucid dreaming has helped me regain some of my original spontaneity/creativity...

Well if anyone is interested on improving their creative thinking and imagination for better lucid dreams and overall better analysing of anything I will post a fun exercise that I do every day of my life. And seriously it will change the way you percieve the world. Anyway I will write it and post it soon.

I dunno, as far as I know I'm usually very orderly and not very creative at all, so I'd have to say I'm "right-brained"...
But as far as dream recognision goes: I dream of futuristic cities with huge skyscrapers, live first person shooter missions and warp portals inside my sister's bedroom without becoming lucid, so yeah...

Thats left brain. The idea is the hemispheres control opposite sides of the body.
I think Asher's right though, the scientific validity of the theory has been challenged over the last few years, so people who only use the left side of their brains don't believe in it any more.
Any one who's in to this kind of head meddling is bound to have a well developed right hemisphere. Symbolically speaking.

It is pretty much determined as far as I now, scientifically there are these different attributes and that each hemisphere is inept at some things than others.
You will get rebuttal from the left brain thinkers.
My own experiences has led me to believe that left handed people are generally more creative. That is why they choose there left hand by choice. There left brain has more dominance than their other hemisphere.
The right brain is more abstract. This, IMO gives reason for better creativity.
And I know that there are exceptions, there are to every argument. I tire of hearing that argument.
