      Blind while lucid..?

      hey!

I have had this only happen twice and again last night. For some reason I become lucid but everything black like I have my eyes closed and I can't open them ; but I can still feel where I am and know where I am. Than for some reason they open

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have experienced this in some non-lucid dreams and one lucid. I can get along fine without sight, but if you relax and focus on openning your eyes, your problem will most likely be solved.

How long have you been in this darkness before you awoke?

Either just wait and see if a dream scene forms, or a thing I like to do is start imagining some sort of dream scene and just start thinking what it would be like and what you would do, and after a while if you arent in it, try to open your eyes and be in it.

Once when this happened to me, I imagined like a opening sequence(like at the begining of tv show where it shows the actors and some credits and stuff) and when it was over I was in the show

isnt there that state where you cant see but you can sense everything around you? people describe it as "being able to walk unaided through a room full of people without bumping into anyone, blind"
I can't say I really know anything about what you're talkinga bout , but I said plausible because of that incredibly cool blind spot trick .

Hey, some nights ago, I had a dream that I was in a bar, and all of a sudden my sight got really black. You know when you are lying down and get up really fast and everything goes a bit dark for a while? Well I felt like that, for like 20 seconds.

So yeah, I have been 'blind' in an LD. I think it's becouse you are on the verge of leaving REM, or just entering it...

yup, i've had it happen in about a dozen lucids, always at the very beginning.most times i eventually can see.

try imagining you are in a dark room, finding a door, and opening it , knowing/expecting it will be well lit on the other side. or find a light switch. or reach in your pocket and 'find' a flashlight or lighter, or....

      basically just trick your mind....
