      In the mirror...

I had an unusual experience looking in the mirror the other day. Usually when I do this I see myself in bad lighting, nothing special. But the other day I saw someone else. Does this have a special meaning? Lately I have come to believe that there is sucha a thing as accurate dream descriptions in general.
      Early Morning Moment,
      A Glimpse of Joy,
But soon it's Over, and I return to Dust...

Interesting. There are a few possibilities, all of the really exciting.

First, you could be getting a look at some aspect of yourself that has been hidden in your subconcious. What did the image look like? Did it have any special significance to you? Did you like it, or were you frightened by it!

or second, maybe you are in the process of discovering another dream form. This can also be fun and help you learn about yourself.

There has been some really intriuging discussions about mirrors in dreams...and how they can be meanings of certain things...in fact that is some peoples goal in an LD...to look in a mirror.

Also, it can be a great way to trigger lucidity, if you have alot of dreams where you are...say brushing your teeth and something strange happens, etc.

yeah Lowercase is right it can be utilized as a great Dream Sign. Seeker has a point also it could be a reflection of your subcounsious exploiting your hidden self. I try to play around with Mirrors all the time. If you get LD's Next time you see a Mirror Walk through one.

Ok, if there ever was anything to be jealous of on this board in terms of LD talent.. it's seeing yourself in a mirror!!

I WANT TO DREAM THAT!! I would be curious as to how I see myself.

      You will.

I love mirrors also! Not because I'm vain, far from it. I've just had a lot of cool thinks happen with mirrors!

It was weird... I was a soccer player. I love soccer, but haven't played in a while now. I didn't like it or dislike it 'cause I was too shocked to see a reflection that wasn't myself. There was another dream in which I saw myself exactly as I am and I was frightened...
