Thread: those almost lucid dreams

i realized i was dreaming one time but i didnt recognize the full significance of "IM DREAMING" so i never really went lucid. i seem to have alot of these where i would do a rt in a dream and realize im dreaming... but never go lucid. its very frustrating. any suggestions?

Practice. And don't worry, it will come.

Yeah, i agree...just practice on the techniques that work for you.

I also hate these dreams where i think about going lucid, or getting on to DREAM VIEWS, or make plans on getting lucid when i go to sleep that 'night'.

Yes, I hate that feeling.
It's fun tho: In one of my dreams, I was partially aware. However I didnt realized I was in a dream, I just thought I have SUPER POWERS....

OK, but seriously now...should we all do reality checks EVERY TIME we think about dreaming to stop this.

I almost did a lucid dream but I wastn good enough the other night. I dreamt I was in a posh restaraunte and we were walking along and I decided to smuggle a potato out because I hadnt finished it but was told to go back in to the restaraunte to finish eating it there. As I went in I started singing in Greek and everyone joined in (It was really strange) and I got everyone support and everyone was clapping me. I seem to remember telling myself to clap so it was like 1 second lucidity but it didnt seem very defined so i came close but not close enough!
