      My first ever beautiful dream

      Hello everyone

I shall tell you of the exciting adventures in my first and only lucid dream so far.
It happened about 3 days ago or so. I was looking on the intent at some optical illusions and it was getting quite late. I didn't really want to go to bed at that time but after a while I was too pooped. Just before i was about to go I saw a link or someone’s lucid dream journal, it wasn't very long but I read it and was inspired and excited. I only had a couple of ours thinking about lucid dreaming and that was the first time I have ever even considered it. I went to bed that night and thought about the digital watch reality testing. I had some regular dreams first and then half way through the night I woke up in bed and felt different.
I decided to check my digital watch, this was strange, as I have not worn a watch for many years, I looked on my wrist and sure enough a cheesy digital watch that had designs from the 1980's on it. The time was going really fast and changing all the while I was staring at it. I realised I was in a dream at that moment and was very excited. I got up and went down stairs in my house to find my family all there. The strange thing was that I had two mums and two dads, exact copies of each other but only I could see one of the pairs of parents.
I decided to hug my dad and tell him that I loved him; this was significant as we have always had a unfriendly relationship as I was growing up. In the dream I knew I was in control and I felt really free. Then I told my family I was dreaming and they were very happy. We all went to the kitchen and started eating food. My mum and dad started arguing, which they do in waking life, I said "not in my dream guys" and waved my hand in the air and instantly they stopped and started laughing happily. I knew that I could control the whole universe with my thoughts, I felt great!
Then I went and tried to explain to my sister on the phone that I was a master and didn't need the money she was trying to send me, I could just make it appear out of thin air, but she wasn't listening to me. I didn't care much about that so I went off to my dad and said that I shall give him a million pounds in his bank. Then I started wondering if the bank would find this strange and so get my dad into trouble, I just used my intention and made it ok with the bank using the power of my mind. I then had some fun making a water bottle float and bounce off a window that I made very bendy as not to smash.
Next I decided to look outside, I saw a flash sports car with two joy rider men sitting in it. I decided to make the car move and float about so i just waved my hand and made it so. The car flipped upside down and while one of the men jumped out the other stayed and the cars weight fell on the mans neck. He was hurt and as this was a pure accident on my behalf I decided to get him out the car and heal his neck. So I waved my hand and in an instant he was healed. He ran off laughing. I do not like to see people get hurt especially in my own dream! I Love everyone!
Anyway, next I went outside and walked about. I saw hundreds of these gangster looking people coming at me with pen knives and tape. I thought they wanted to hurt me so I used my intention to make them peaceful. They came up to me and taped the closed tiny pen knives to my face and I realised that was a sign of respect, strange indeed but it was their was of saying they loved me! hahahah very interesting.
Then I saw a lady whom I recognised. I went over and realised that her husband had died some time in my dream. We both knew that I could bring him back to life but I chose not to. This part of the dream was expressing my belief and acceptance of death as a wonderful part of life. Also it was the man’s free will to choose to die. I respected that and knew that death was not 'bad' thing in the slightest, but a wonderful change and release of our soul from the heavy. Although fun, body. I view I indeed have in waking life. That is a very very short explanation of my belief however.
So the lady and I hugged and cried a sad but healthy cry for the man. WE knew death was wonderful but at the same time allowed the healthy natural emotions flow through us. It was the most wonderful crying I have ever had. I finally realised how to enjoy and love all the emotions without judging them and how to see the love that is truly behind them all. Then my dream panned into a beautiful red orange warm sunset and the dream was over.
I think that I can become even more conscious in my next lucid dreams than in the one explained here. I was very much aware that everything was a dream but maybe sometimes I got a tad lost in the story, but every time I changed something with my mind it reminded me I was dreaming.
So there you have it. The first and hopefully not the last of Tom-Lucid dreams

That's amazing! It was a beautiful "dream+story" (I want to find a better way to describe dreams when retold without using the word dream, story (hey! I haven't found a better word!) or something...). It really roused the emotions, especially the part about your father and your parents arguing. I hope to read many more of your dreams :)

      Well thanks, Kadath.
I have had a lot of experiences with my dad and mum not agreeing and specifically my dad not being too friendly towards me as a child that I am still working on healing. It feels really nice to act out some of that healing in my dreams.

That sounds like a great dream. Dreams are great because can be used for resolving some otherwise unresolvable situations.

Well my view is that we can use dreams (specifically lucid dream) as a practice ground for what we choose to do in waking life. Indeed I believe people do this often. I would use the dream world to get use to the situation but I do believe that to fully heal it would be wise to also carry that out in waking life too.

      Tom,

You have a lot of wisdom for a young man. I'm very impressed with both the length and amount of control you had in your first lucid dream. For many of us, our first lucid dream is very short because excitement of becoming lucid for the first time brings us back to waking reality. Great experience; look forward to hearing more.

Jerryiii, hahaha I might only be 19 but I do not feel 19, this comes up a lot in my life.
I do not judge myself, or others for that matter, based on age, (in fact I don't judge people altogether) but I find that peoples development has very little to do with the amount of years on this earth.
You know, I really base my age on how much I learn, remember about who I really am and by the choices I make regarding who I next choose to be.

Oh and I work a lot with changing and creating my world in waking life so I guess it comes a bit easier for me. However I did have a really short lucid dream last night. and I couldn't really do anything, but I didn't have much time to try. I looked into a mirror and tried to change my appearance, it didn't work. But from then on I stopped being lucid and the dream turned into a normal one. So I didn't have much of a chance to try anything out. Oh well. That was my second lucid dream, yaaaaaaaaay, I love this stuff!
