      Waking up lucidly

Has anyone been lucid during the wake up process and watched the process in detail? I have stayed lucid during wake up before, but last night was unique. Way more detail than before.

I was coming back from a regular LD and I felt myself "waking" up - a sensation of being pulled back toward the body. The movement stopped and I felt for the body - there was nothing - no sense of body. Then I felt about 6-8 rapid clicks (tiny movements) after which I could feel some of the body, but only a few sensations. Then I felt 6-8 more clicks and I felt more of the body. Then there were 3 final clicks and I was fully back "in the body".

Any "body" experienced anything like this before?

in one lucid i was walking and felt sleep paralysis in my dream body. as the imagery faded the SP sensations transferred to my physical body without any break in continuity.

a number of times (including my last lucid dream), i have woken up with my eyes fixed on something in my bedroom which is similarly shaped to the last image in my dream.

for instance, in one lucid i dreamt i was in an airplane, and i only had a side view...seconds later i woke up, and found myself looking at a design on my wall with the exact same angles as the static view of the plane.

my theory is that just before awakening my eyes flutter open and shut, and the external stimuli influences the dream in the 5-10 seconds bere awakening...

never had the 'clicks' though...wierd stuff
