1st lucid

Hi iam all new to this i heard it from a friend so i tried, first time i realize i was lucid and someone was calling my name down a hallway then it all went black and i tried wakeing up and i could preject myself trying to wake up then i finally did and got pissed for wakeing up lol, well other day was my first actually "lucid dream" or so i hope so, well i woke up in my bed realizeing i was lucid i tried not to freak looked out my window and jumped out i was scared cause i dont know to many people who do that then i hit the ground and i started wlaking around the city funny thing is it was only me and a few friends in the dream and all we were doing was walking around i think my lucid dream slowly turn into a dream but i was unaware that i could control it hmm sounds rediculous.

So, I just want to clarify something: so you KNEW you were dreaming in these dreams? Because there's a difference between being able to control your dreams, and actually knowing that you're dreaming. And sometimes you may become lucid just for a moment, and then lose it again (this happens to me a lot). Just asking...

The second one sounds like you had a low level Lucid Dream and then lost lucidity. Next time you get lucid try one of the techniques to prolong lucidity like hand rubbing or spinning and focus on what you want to do in the dream that should help you to stay lucid.

Thank you very Much, yeah i believe i was at the first stage but lost it, basically is only my second time but i will focus next time i become lucid and try rubbing my hands or something

Congratulations on your first lucid dream!

It's very often that one has a lucid after hearing about it. Funny, ey? The fun just begins there, though. Now that you've had a taste, I'm sure you can cook up some more meals.

Try different things out, be experimental. Finding your style is one of the key main points. Once you find a comfortable point, you can progress easily! It can't really hurt (as long as you're careful and know your own limits)!

Check out some of the tutorials and if you have any questions, there are many people here that I'm sure are open to answering them.

hey thanks very much again, my trouble is getting one actually but i heard you can soemtimes go weeks without one hmm.. i had two dream last night but no lucid ones what a bummer
