Thread: I did it!!!!

Alright!!!! So, last night, well actually this morning between 8 and 9 I got my first Lucid Dream since being on this website!!! So, last night, I was meditating before bed. I remembered a page I red on self hypnosis, So, I relaxed, emptied my mind of thoughts, relaxed from my toes to my head, and then began to envision numbers counting down from 10 to 1. I was then in a state of meditation where I told myself in the present tense "I have dreams and control them." After saying that in my head about twenty-five times I counted the numbers again from 1 to 10. And then I slowly came back. This technique helps me a lot when I really want to focus on something and just relax, and relieve stress.

So, anyways, onto my dream. It was night time; I was in the car with my mum and brother. We where driving in the back roads, on our way to my house. It was just as the roads where, except more hilly, and curvy. There where barn lights on the left side of the road, illuminating it with a pale orange ora of light. They where spaced out about one every 100 feet. My mom stopped the car. There was a baseball diamond in the road. She told me to go on second base and get the attention of the auto mechanics. I went to first base, for some reason, and danced around like an idiot. All I could see in the shop window was a guy in a towel with the same face as TygrHawk's avi. Yea, really strange.

So after he went into a little room I went back to the car to tell my mom what happened then the mechanic's two sons where chasing us down with a red Mustang. I took off on foot, and as usual in my dreams, I run like slower than slow... I don't know why this is in my dreams but whatever. My mom and brother also took off on foot. I must have blinked or something because suddenly it was day. We where running through a farmer's field. The grass was green and about ankle high. Behind us, the rode, and behind the road was houses and trees.

When we got to the corner of the field I saw that it would be an uphill climb. The hill was a forest, too, making it even harder to get up. I thought to myself that this was a shortcut to my house. My brother Tim just disappeared and all that was left was my mother and me. All of the sudden, I thought back to a dream I had like 3 weeks ago where I was running from the cops and also running like a slow poke.

That’s when it hit me! I told myself, "This must be a dream, because why else would I be running like a goose?" Then after I got up on the peak of the hill, I decided I should go home and get dream mum to drive me to school. I said to myself "I can run faster, I can run faster, I CAN RUN FASTER!!!!!" I took off like a speeding bullet. It was amazing. My neighbor hood was strange because all the houses where on hills.

My house was the only one not on a hill, it was in its own little valley. All of the sudden the dream was fading and I woke up very excited before I could implement the spinning technique. All in all, it ruled!!!!! I have to work on staying in longer though.
