I haven't had success with a WILD before. Mine are when I use a WBTB and they happen by chance. As the REM states get longer as the night goes on, it would be better (in my opinion) to try a WILD in the later stages of sleep. I am not sure if B6 works for me or not. My lucids are still by chance. I take a multivitamin which has all the B vitamins and others as well.

Nothing is a good substiute for hard work, and time.

sounds like you tried to WILD before you'd slept beforehand...which is possible, but usually much harder than attempts made after 4 or 5 hours of sleep..

WILD technique is tricky at first..really, there is no way to have success with it except attempting it..building on small successes until you experience a full blown lucid. it gets easier after the initial successes.

i strongly recommend that you wake up after 4.5 hours of sleep...read something about lucid dreaming for 5-15 (until you feel alert, but not wide awake). lay back down, prepare yourself mentally to succeed, and try WILD.

much easier later in the night, when the body returns to REM (dreaming) sleep quicker than at the beginning of the night.

and the two word key to WILDIng is:

      Passive Awareness.
