Thread: First LD since joining.

Short and simple but pretty useful as dreams go.

The dream started in a lift, going up slowly inside a huge building. There was some sense of oddness about this building, but I can't remember what. Suddenly the lift clangs about and abruptly drops of it's cable down the shaft. Yes, lifts are one of my fears... While it was falling I heard myself thinking "This is like my worst nightmare". Then I just noticed that it actually WAS a nightmare. So with my tenuos lucidity I let the lift fall, but when it hit the bottom of the shaft, it tore through it like paper and fell into open sky. I opened the door and soared off into the clouds. Pretty fun, but lasted for about 30 seconds before I woke up

It seems the main thing I use lucid dreams for is stopping nightmares, mainly because my only reliable dreamsigns are the beginnings of nightmares.
