Thread: have you ever fought your evil side and lost...

quite a lot.

I have indeed had some hurtles I wished to overcome in my lucid dreams.
It came to a head one lucid dream where I was going to venture into a place my subconscious would not allow me to go before. As I attempted this I, ME or a rendition of a DC that was a replica of myself dropped from the sky in my way.
My surge of initial irritation led to violence.
The fight was remarkable in hindsite. I could not win as was pointed out earlier. Every punch I threw hit me in the same place I hit my other self, if that makes sense. I t would have been a never ending battle.
I should have tried to correspond with ..myself. It seems pretty evident that I was the one fighting myself in and outside of my dreams.
My dreams gave me a forum in which I could address the issues but instead I resorted to violence.

I think that in the time of war like this, where the battle is never ending, peace is the best option...

meaning that power comes with alliance not conflict...

Anyway, I just tried a new theory of mine, in my dreams. Basically what happened is that I have become complete unity with Mind Body and Soul.

When i'm in my dreams, I turn into ''myself'', no longer do I speak of an ''alter-ego'' or ''my unconsciousness'' or other side.

I was, I am, and I will be, myself, till all eternity.

Reference to the ''anger-management'' (kinda, moving towards the dude who had ''anger-management'' done lol)

Heh, I too, made myself withhold my rage when I get extremely pissed. (on primary school)
Though for me it's more like i've got 3 personality's (ever since the ''anger-reduction'')

1.: The scared one, who avoids conflict at all costs. I'm unreliable, and a chickenshit in this phase, but I won't run away fast . (There's a few sub-phases in this one as well, but i'll avoid blabbering)

| - Transition: Make the conflict ''impossible to avoid'' and i'll move to that phase.

2.: The Powerful Knight, who just laughs at the conflict (could even call it masochistic , I laugh when I get hit when i'm in this phase) which won't fight back, but just laugh when hit.

| - Transition: Make me get ''hurt enough'' OR do something which pisses me off (ethic stuff | can get me pissed off really fast, so it can also be mentally triggered)

3.: The Dark Knight (The Ancient Entity), which is when you ''did it'', it's that I feel no pain, and all my punches will arrive at 10x speed and 10x power (litteraly, I'm a walking demolisher when i'm pissed off, with lightspeed). I'll only be focussed on the fight so if you'd be my friend i'd molest the dude who ''did it'', and then i'd just continue talking to you.
Best way to describe this would be: Final Fantasy PERMA limit-break (until I win the battle )

However, when i'm in my dreams, I am completely neutral, no anger, no love, until I try to engage in any ''positive'' events (When I have sex I do feel joy, but when monsters attack I do not feel hatred)..

i think that in dreams all your anger should be let out in the most horrific way possible, i have only done that once, i was darth vader and i killed MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, and i felt the true feeling of power, it even stuck with me when i woke up, it was the greatest feeling ever, and i seriously need to let out more anger, and i mean alot more anger, enough anger that my power will be so great that, i will kill any dream character that tries to stop me by ripping them apart with my bare hands.

Tell me if anyone else has experienced this feeling, of power through evil and immoral deeds...

Erm.. not really, but I do have ''that power'' (it just doesn't feel like this

Yes its exactly that, its the power of evil, even though i am opposed to anythying violent or evil of any kind, it felt good to use the power of evil in my dreams...because it gave me a taste of true power, and it kept me going for the next week, and it helped towards my lucid dreaming, because i have done a experiment, and i will always remember at least 2 dreams a night if i recreate that feeling before i go to sleep, maybe its my dream sign...its the first that i have heard about a feelinig being a dream sign...

Well its not your dream sign if you feel it befor you fall asleep because your dream sign is in your dream. You might have the lucid dream because its more of a reality test, if you get my drift, or it could be something new like emoitioninal WILD, like it sends a massage to your brain that your feeling powerful and thristy for power plus the added happiness. So your brain could react to that like what you said on your first post, your anger made your bad side but you feel it befor and you somehow remeber it and it follows you into your dream. So in a sense its kind of like a WILD because you follow into it and remeber it but this is emoitional WILD so you remeber the emoition so it something new EILD. I might of made somethiong new up or i could be very, very, very wrong. Lets let a higher affority talk about whats going on i feel a bit...well...complexed.

In my dreams I always win. The world of dreams is my world, whether I am lucid or not.

Hmmm... I can relate Alpha. You explaned how you have three personalities. Almost the samething with me except I have two personalities which I have dubbed the Dr. Jykell and Mr. Hyde complex.

There is me, which is the good side that only wants to do good, protect, etc...

And I have my... darker side... which literally only wants to destroy anything friend or foe.

Except I have pretty much sealed up Mr. Hyde but as I explained last time he sometimes gets out. Take for example:

One time I was walking home from school some kids were annoying me (as usual) andI started to feel my darker side trying to tear it's way out of me (and thats pretty much what it literally felt like). Then I turned around in psychotic rage as blacked out. Then I come back and I screaming at the top of my lungs "you ever touch me again and I'll kill you!!!." I don't remember what happened but my brother and my friend said I took of my backpack, swung it at him like a flail (spelling? ), dropped it then punched him in the stomach, then he tried to hit me but I dodged three consecutive strikes. He then got a hit at my face and I went to the floor. My brother and friend said I started to laugh, not funny laugh, a low maniacal laugh... Then they said I lunged at him but he ran away some 20 ft I guess and thats when I regained consciousness and started screaming.

Wierd ain't it... but then again the strike to the headed may have affected my memory but still the fact it happened was quite strange.

But he is chained down and hasn't got out in a very long time and I don't plan on him ever getting out. He is a part of me but a part of me who will only get anything close to freedom in my dreams. The first thing I want to do when I regain lucidity is make a sort of truce with him and train with him.

My Sifu (kung fu teacher) told me that in his lucid dreams, he used to fight people and win by actually physically contacting them. He said that the real trick is to be able to defeat them by more unconventional means. He gave a really good example of someone attacking him, and everytime his assailant would step forward Sifu would make him get older. Sifu would just step back, and the other guy would follow him and each step he took would make him old and frail. Eventually he talked to the guy and they resolved their problem, and the guy walked backwards and became young again with each step.

Well, When I get pissed I only attack foe, and the limit break part, it's really true When i'm "TRULY" pissed off, my endurance goes up extremely high, same for speed and strength.

So you could say i'm doing a permanent Omnislash (with my fists, but I do own blades so if they were at my home.. hehe ).

My ''evil'' part never comes out though, like I said, unless I get pissed off by someone, which doesn't happen unless they actuall hit me until it hurts.

And I barely get hurt as i'm training to lower my pain, heighten (spelling?) my willpower.

I can take 20 hits with a metal bar FULL POWER on my hand, and I won't even flinch .

And well, last time I really got pissed off was once when someone was laughing at me when he threw an ICE-BALL against my EYE. That DID hurt, and he was laughing, so I was like. GRARGH. I made an ice-ball the size of a small child (7 year old) And smashed it on his head. (Which made him cry like a baby).

Then I just walked off so I wouldn't have to smash his brains in

My evil side gets anger when i see someone i know get all the luck, and when i get unlucky, the way that i keep it at bay is that i surpress it then i sing disney songs such as hakuna matata or under the sea, it helps cheer me up and calm me down, try it, it really does help.

i do have a dark side but that rarly comes out. I get angry when people inoiy( i can't spell) but i only shout but i have hit like 5 out 500 times i get inoiyed so you can see i don't have a dark side. The strangest thing is that i rarly hit my friends or any one else but my family only if i do really and i mean really get Miffed( i hope i don't do that when i have a family of my own ). Anyway, in my dreams i have became evil but in the end i see what it can do to harm people and i hate it abosolutly hate it. Yes i have felt that power what [Alpha]-0mega- said but then i saw my family in that dream and i had to let got of it because it then felt painful. I think my sub-counsious didn't want me to be evil and i don't like being evil too. Even on game; if there was a choice between evil or good i would always choose good. I just think i have a kindred soul

Sry about that 'Omega' . I don't know how I fight when my darkside takes over but I do however train with swords so if my darkside works as yours by doing a limit break, if I had sword at that moment I would be able to do an Omnislash .

Also Mr. caramel, I always choose the good side in games. Though it's fun to be the bad guys there something that always wants me to choose the good side.

i think that everyone is partly good or evil, but you need to see both to get the bigger picture...

Omnislash, exactly, that's what I do except without a sword, since swords aren't allowed to be taken to school else I would .
and about the ''side choosing'' I also always choose the good side xD (Unless in video-games i've finished it, became lvl 10000 and there's nothing more to do, then I'll just go into some kinda massacre).

eg.: Fable, slaughter whole villages then buy all the buildings.

I guess it's just not in my nature to be evil.
In my imaginary and lucid state it's different though.
I then (sometimes) look like a Demon or Dark angel of some sorts (black wings at least), imagine Jin from tekken 5 in devil mode, except that i'm still "Good" and not evil. I just look like it.

Sometimes running is a good thing. Personally, I'd explode in her face and make sure she goes down with me.

That kind of defeats the purpose, but oh well.

have you ever fought multiple evils or killed millions of people in lucid dreams. i have once where i was darth vader i used the force to rip apart a whole city. And once where i was fighting sephiroth, he created millions of shadow sephiroths, and all i remember thinking was "OH MY GOD!!!" then they all rushed towards me, i took a few of them in one slash, then my dream ended, but i believe that i could have won if it didnt end

has any one else ever had dreams that they were fighting huge armies which are controlled by your darkside. he seemed more of a rival than an enemy, because it was fun fighting him and i feel alot happier now i fought him, and i really cant wait to fight him again!!! I think that this was where my anger manifested itself into a form, like i said it would in previous posts.

i have also had another dream where alien from the alien films was hunting me, this is the second time that this has happened in a dream, this time i was being chased with other people, ansd i only actually saw the creature once or twice, and all the other times i could sense them, i have had these sort of dreams before where i could sense my enemies, i sensed them in a way that when i shut my eyes i saw a map of the area around me and both of us included in this map, afterwards i was also forced into the sea due to the alien chasing me, and even with my enhanced speed, strength and intelligence i couldnt escape from them, and then the sea changed into tar and i couldnt swim, i made it out eventually, alot of the x men made cameo appearences in this dream. At one point i jumped down well over 9 stories of a buildinig to get away from these creatures, i was perfectly OK but the reason that i was willing to jump off a building to escape from these creatures make it seem like they were something inside of me that i am trying to run away from but cant, my darkness maybe, but after the sea thing and the massive storm they all disappeared, and the world seemed as though it was alot brighter and lighter due to this. So maybe i finally defeated or escaped my darkness or fused with them (which could have created the storm) and i think that i am going to be seeing that bat monster again soon, because by now i think that his allies has decreased greatly in number, those who i have mentioned in previous posts, due to ME!!! So i think that it is about time he fought me 1 to 1, i will put another post up detailing this great battle which will eventually happen, i hope to hear from all of your successes and failures on defeating your darkness aswell, and thanks to all those people who have already posted their thoughts, all of you have been very helpful towards this subject...

My worst fears are that you can sense your enemies because the fear just builds up about the unknown. Thats really scarey but one thing is that i think my monsters are invulnirable to everything thats why i can never win. Oh well i just will have to deprive them of the happiness they get when they eat me thats how i got rid of my recurring nightmare. Found it so boring every time it happens i never have it again(well atleast for 5 years or more )

Well it's true you may never really win, but the sheer fact you get to play hero vs. villian and have a battle each night.. Is pretty damn cool, like a nightly adventure.

The more control you get you could do some damn cool things too.. Like mabey have some friends battle with you, or have a neat setting. You won't kill it forever, but it will be fun to kill it for that night lol.

Really what i am waiting for is to see it again, and have a lucid battle with it, because then i will be able to have a good fight, and a very cool experience out of it...

I have several dreams where I can't ever punch the person because it goes right through them or they can always dodge it. lol! If I could just lay one blow on it I would be so happy!
