I recently had an LD (it was kind of on and off - I sometimes forgot I was dreaming but I quickly remembered) in which I had Spider-Man powers (I've heard this is a popular one amongst some, and I can see (or rather I saw) why!) My problem was however that I kept losing the ability to shoot webs like Spider-Man, so I was unable to swing. After waking up, I blamed this not only on perhaps trying to hard, and possibly realising it wasn't logically possible in the real world, but because in the sencond Spider-Man movie, Spidey temporarily loses his abilities - I think my brain copied this part of the movie, but left the characters, setting and dialogue to me! (Oh and the plot too!)
If this happens again, what techniques should I use to help maintain the powers - I read a post saying that if you are very logically-minded, your logic can make it hard for you to believe things that would normally be impossible, and so to make up for this, come up with an explanation that would make it less illogical. (This suits me because I feel I am very logical and am into my physics!) Any other suggestions to keep powers like this (this can happen with flight - I realise I can't, so I stop! It's very annoying!)
(Oh and sorry for the post being so long, I just like to make my meaning clear!)
