      Is this lucid?

I had my first lucid dream I think. Last night I woke up several times I remember several fragments of dreams but I always fell back to sleep before I could peace everything together. Anyways one time when I was dreaming I looked down at my hands and said to myself wait a second I think I'm dreaming, I do a RC, I held my nose and I was still able to breath. As these events occurred everything began to go out of focus. I looked at my hands again and started trying to think of a place to go but I was afraid I was wakeing up, then I did. I then thought this might be a false awakening, it was. but after that I woke up for real. I'm sure this was lucid but I was thinking maybe sence I'v read and though about lucid dreaming so much I could have just been dreaming that I had a lucid dream.

      Waking Up

It seems like you were having a real lucid dream. If you fear that you’re waking up I first of all suggest that calm yourself. After you have done this, attempt to spin around. I’ve never had a time in which the spinning technique was not effective.
      I can because I know I can.

Yep, you were definitely lucid. Don't worry about not being about to maintain it for longer, that will come with time. Keep up the good work!

Definitely. The fact that you were sitting there saying to yourself "Wait, I think I'm dreaming," and then you tried to confirm it by doing a reality check suggests that you were consciously realizing that what you're experiencing was a dream. That's signs, to me, of a lucid dream.
When you had your false awakening, did you figure it was a false awakening while it was happening? If so, again, that definitely suggest's a lucid dream.
Way to go, man. Keep it up.

I woke up and started trying to think about what happened, then as soon as I thought that I might still be asleep I woke up again. This is awsome, I cant belive I did it. I think things will be better when school is out and I won't be bound to a schedule or worry about when I have to go to sleep or get up. Thanks everyone for confirming this for me.
