Ugh... stupid people would just be like, "Yay!! I'm dreaming!!" and jump out the window...

On the other hand, smarter people would either try to lift/open/move a window with their mind and fly out of it. ...

You can't exactly not be convinced if you are concious...

Not necessarily- if you lack confidence in general then that transforms over into your dream. You then put yourself into a situation where you would majorley regret it in real life, somtimes there is not the distinct line you would think there would be.

lol me too, i'm one of those stupid people also. i'm like, woot i'm lucid, i'm gonna crash through this window!! i did that once, whole window shattered in the lucid dream and as I flew out the window I was like 5000 feet above the ground over a beautiful landscape with a full moon in the sky...

why be rational when lucid dreaming, i can just do whatever... if i see a door, i just float through it, i don't bother opening it...

I agree with u Howetzer.... I understand where u r coming from ...i have have lucid dreams like that before... what sucks more is the fact that i have been lucid and not able to accomplish what i wanted to do because of second guessing the lucidity of my dream... for instance... i tried to make something appear in my hand while lucid and i couldnt do it because ...i really didnt BELIEVE i could do it..... U must BELIEVE u can in order to do things..... very much like the MATRIX!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry I just have to comment on the Stupid people thing, that is the funniest thing I have read in a long time. I laughed pretty hard just cuz I got a visual of me doing it in real life or something. Great... Now I'm probably going to do it in my dream tonight! w00t!

Do something you know that will never happen. That way you know for a fact your dreaming, once you do it shouldn't be a problem.

Just don't jump off of anything until you are sure. I reality checked one time by jumping from a second story balcony.

lol i always remember dreams where i am trying to hook in with some chik....but of course i dont cos at the time im not aware its a dream.....ahhh the possabilites.....then theres always waking up and just goin out to get some

That was my entire point in this post, but the comments were to the effect -well do somthing or look at somthing impossible. Well thats just it. when the dream becomes soooo real it isn't bread & butter anymore..
If you look back at some of the replies I don't think peolple understand how real an LD can become!

Eh, logical dreams are annoying... if I wanted reality I'd wake up! It's probably the most complicated dream you could have, everything having to be physically possible and all..

I guess a vulcan could never have a lucid dream XD hehe

Howetzer your Lucid Dreams doesn't have a different vibe than in your waking world. Call me stupid because Im just that type that Wasup mentioned, Im that type that says "hey Im dreaming" and jump out the window to take flight. Sometimes If I don't automatically induce my LD's by MILDS or WILDS and try to have a non-conscious dream, I usually figure it out that im in a dream a few seconds after I enter into it, just because of the feelings. It just doesn't feel the same as the waking world. You definately need confidence and not only that. The Biggest thing is that you need to grab a hold on that fear thats keeping you from gaining your confidence. Just have a I don't give a F**k type attitude. If you find yourself back in that situation just say F**k it.. and will that door to open, and once that door opens by your will-power then jump out that window like me. You gotta face your fear buddy. then you will be a new man my friend.

Not all my LD dreams are that realistic. Fortunatly maybe 4 out of 10.
Either way I never looked at it as a fear. Just thuoght it was tha way it was for me. Thanks. I am going to take that SOB by the horns and make it into sureal dreamscape!!!!!! YEEEEEHAAAAAA

its all about confidence...be confident in yourself, and that you are dreaming and just go crazy...i have complete confidence in myself and that im dreaming, and can always go lucid in my dreams...then again, every once in awhile ill wake up and think im dreaming and do something stupid, but i dont care
