Thread: Yay for lucid dreams...

I had a lucid experience last night, but sadly i dont remember much of it because i took some sleep aid pills which knocked me out. Anyways the first thing i remember was that i saw a street sign and i saw it once then decided to look at it again( in my reality checks i look around for things to read) and the writing changed so i knew i was dreaming... I dont remember what happened after that but i do remember knowing i was dreaming and examining my surroundings. I remember walking around and looking at the amazing colors, lucid colors are incredible and i remember everything being real and concrete, i felt my feet touching the ground. The next thing i remember is dreaming that i woke up and writing that i had two LDs in my DJ, not sure if i really had two or just thought i had two(this really tricked the hell out of me cause i woke up thinking i wrote down two LDs but i only rembered one. damn brains and their trickery)
I was definitly lucid and i am getting more familiar with how it feels and I definitly had a false awakening, followed by two vivid dreams that i remembered when i woke up for real. One thing that i did while i was falling asleep after waking from an earlier dream around 1:30 was say to myself "the next time i dream Im going to realize I am dreaming". I kept repeating this and I vividly remember the first scene of the dream was the street sign, Not sure if i create it on purpose as a dream sign or if i just got lucky but either way it worked... Now that i have a vivid picture of that street sign in my head maybe i can visualize it and create it everytime i dream or something... sounds like a good plan to me...
