      why lucid dream?

      i was just curious what is the main reason you lucid dreamers want to lucid dream

      For me it is mainly to live out fantasies or at least try to.

      Also any other techniques for keeping lucid dreams besides spinning

      To have control. Although I have to say that dream walking ain't half bad. You can learn about yourself or even figure out if something is bothering you subconciously.

      Well when I become better at LD's I just want to have fun and explore! Everyone wants adventure... if not in the waking world why not in the dream world. Plus I think it will make me a better person in the waking world if I am able to control what was some believe you cannot control! What a power we have! w00t us!!!

      Welcome to our little home!

      I lucid dream to explore and experiment! It is just so cool to be able to do things that are not possible when awake.

      I've got a 'things to do while lucid' list a mile long!
      And it seems that every time I read the posts here, it keeps getting longer. Lots of great ideas from the members here.

      But, unlike Ev, I try not to do things that will get the Dream Police called on me.

      id say for me when i learn to have ld sex, flying, seeing friends and that is biggest fantasies...but at the moment more distracted by astral projection...ive had 2 near experiences and the physica feeling was incredible..loved every moment

      The world of sleep, why not explore???
      We sleep for 8 hours a night, for about 75 years, thats an ass load of sleep, so why not explore this new world, that is just behind the curtain. Yes it takes alot of work, and determination, but it is WORTH it, every minute of missed sleep, every piece of paper with messy writing is worth it.

      i think most people try for lucidiy just to experiment with it. the list as to what you could do is endless.
