      I WANT TO SEE ENERGY!!!!!!!

A few weeks ago someone posted that when you are dreaming you should tell a dream character "I want to see energy" and something cool would happen. Well I did this yesterday, so now I want to discuss it but I can't remember who wrote this. I've already tried looking for this post but no luck.
      Early Morning Moment,
      A Glimpse of Joy,
But soon it's Over, and I return to Dust...

that was me. What happened in your dream experience?

btw, this morning I had a lucid dream where I was scanning different items in my dreams trying to find dream scouts. I came across this bird/fish-like object and was wiggling around on a wall inside a thick frame. Immediately I picked up on this "object" and knew if was foreign energy inserted into my dreams. I yelled "i was to see energy!" and it slowly started changing and morphing into something else. But at the same time my GFs alarm clock went off in the other room and woke me up heh heh, funny timing...

Just to let anyone interested know that I pm'd intent on what happened. I encourage everyone to try it for themselves, I don't want to give away my experience 'cause if you do it your brain might subconciously expect what will happen. I want to see if people get different results than me.

I've actually did this the other day, and one of my dream characters threw what looked like an torquoise energy wave at me and I actually had to counter it with my own. Then I was pissed that he didn't realize I was the boss and tried to test me, so I erased him.

bingo. btw, you probably didn't erase him you switched to a dream he didn't exist it. that was real energy you encountered.

try it again, pick a person, preferably your mother, father or close family... trust me point at them, shout "i want to see energy" and find out what happens. battling them doesn't really help it just causes you to either wake up or switch dreams. from that beings perspective they see us like we see a weird creepy spider.

also, pay attention to the color of the energy and its movement, is it undulating, scintilating or sizzling... you can sometimes catch their feeling too... the longer you focus on them the better you catch their attention.

it is based on my experiences. I've encountered energy scouts like that behind people many times in many different dreams and seen their energy. it's quite an amazing sight to see. i've even found some energy scouts behind bizarre objects, had them turn into energy and shouted my intention to follow them. They then pull me into a tunnel vortex into another world. i do that quite regularly, look at many objects in the dream and identify what is an energy scout. The energy scouts behind objects are somewhat talkative once you get into their world, but I am still limited in my experiences with them. It was interesting to see two other people have very similar reactions once they shouted 'i want to see energy' at a person in their dream...

The scouts behind people don't seem to have much interest in talking with him. Who knows, maybe it is just my experiences. I definitely am interested in hearing other's stories. I love the concept of consensus

the opposite of this is if you point at some random thing in your dream and shout the same thing, you probably won't see anything. With me, majority of the dream has no energy of its own, just like phantoms.

really curious now to have someone try this in their dreams... anyone else willing to try it out and post the results?

you can shout it anytime you remember to do it, but it seems to work effectively shouting it at dream people and bizarre dream objects. but by all means, definitely give it a try on anything! we are interested to see what happens...

btw, mostly when I LD I just pick 4 objects in the LD, point at then 1-2-3-4, then back to the first object 1-2-3-4. Then I pick four more objects in the dream scene and continue. I'm trying to pick out bizarre objects by focusing my dream attention on them. When I get tired of the dream scene I point at any object in the dream for a long time and it turns into a vortex and I change to another dream. Then I continue to pick objects again. Lots of times I get distracted by a pretty girl or a beautiful flying scene, but I try to make my way to some house or room to scan objects...

Very cool I will have to try it... Do you create the vortex by just pointing at it or is it a mental note that you want a vortex to appear?

it is a method to change dreams that always works, pointing causes a fixation and shift of your dreaming perception. the second method is to lie down *inside* the dream and wake up inside another dream. I've done both but prefer the pointing way.

before you try changing dreams i would recommend just being able to sustain the sights of all the objects in the dream. once you do that i would try changing dreams.

the reason I do all this is to make dreams less random and chaotic. normal dreams and often lucid dreams move along a "story" in which you participate. what is happening is your perceptual system is constantly shifting and moving the point at which you assemble the dream world. By fixing on viewing specific items in a dream you stop that random movement. Then with pointing and changing dreams you develop more control over your dreaming...

Good info thanks!!!! Can't wait to try! I just have to remember not to get too excited when I become lucid and just try to focus for a min. Thanks

"I want to see energy" oops I'm not dreaming!

actually your excitement is great! that works more than any other method to become lucid. Every time I close my eyes to try to do dreaming, i giggle to myself, feel like I don't have a care in the world and go for it. I spent so long in the past being so serious about dreaming, and found out being super light really helped. go slow with it, be calm and you'll have a fantastic time

What I really want to do is to get enough control and have them often enough can follow along with the story while being fully lucid and not lose any control even while I go along with it.

Most my ld are pretty unstable though except for the two WILDS I have been able to do, but they are were really hard to get.

Will I see energy if I "summon"/find specific person?

For example I'm going around a corner and see my whole family...
I point a little finger at them and shout "I want to see energy".
      what's gonna happen?

Actually My dream setting never changed. I acutally mentally erased him I made him dissappear nothing changed in the dream except for the fact that he was no longer in it. And it was a streaming shot of energy that was thrown at me from a distance of about what I would think is 300 meters. And it did make a sizzling noise and it smelled like burnt sulfer. ummm just remembered that. I don't know how yet to launch energy waves like some of the guys here in the forum but I have a different approach which is a shockwave. Its transparent but the force is amazing. And the sound is thunderous I don't use it often because its so loud in my dreams like a Big Bang! that it usually wakes me up.

interesting. i had a feeling after I wrote that you might say that

with me if I have that experience I usually just wake up really suddenly. to be honest, I don't really mess around normally with even trying to see the energy behind people in my dreams, I did it many times before out of curiousity, and then stopped. The energy I am going after is a bit more benign, at least on the surface. I'd like meaning contact and exchange of useful energy, as opposed to being blasted or blasting...

btw, how do you mentally erase things, yell erase or just will it gone?

It's actually an old talent from when I was a child. Whenever I had nightmares as a child and I was Lucid within them I would have a hard time making my enemies leave the dream. I used to have to will things (cars..Trees..Garbage cans..)Anything I could find at that time and launch those objects at whoever was chasing me. Then I stumbled on something else when I was about 10 yrs old. I realized that if I waved my hand back and fourth like erasing something then it would fade out. I used to concentrate really hard to do this but now its automatic.

Which brings me to something else. If you do something that was really hard in a Lucid dream at the begining, the more you practice it the more your mind incorporates that act into something natural for you. You don't have to waste as much energy anymore after you've done it time after time again. Thats why I don't usually switch up tasks often until I master the one Im currently working on.

      Ka-Ma-Ha-Ma-Ha

Once I did a DBZ Kamahamaha wave in a dream... I was only slightly successful - just like Goku's first attempt.
