Well, I have about 3 LD's which I consider my first
      Let me explain:

First time I came close to lucid ability I had a spark of awareness and changed one thing. It lasted about 1 (or less) second. Then I went back to normal dreaming, but had false awakening.

Another first time - after a very weird dream and encountering "wind" thingie, I found myself in a dark alley and performed a reality check.
I went lucid, but my exitement woke me up.

and finally first full scale LD happened when I WILDed from a dream
It was cool, but still too chaotic and unstable...

      was in a room..
      weird ornaments and pictures...
stared through the window at a distant tree...
      then started running downstairs...
grabbing the window curtains and amazed how real they felt...
went on the street, beautiful orange colour houses, deserted...
      colours are so rich...
      lost it...
woke up confident and more integrated which happens every time...
LDing is simply the best hobby in the universe...

My first LD that lasted more then a second... I was in a park, and it was just as realistic, if not more, then real life. Lot's of people walking around, walking dogs, watering their lawns. Needless to say, I was really happy and proud when I woke up.

      Ratings of dreams!!

LUCIDITY: How concious I am (or how "awake" I am in the dream) and how real it feels when I wake up and when I am dreaming. It is also how much I remember it. A normal dream would be a 0/10, if you question something strange, but don't follow up on it, then that would be between 1-3/10. If you do what I did in my prolouge with the "3rd sign" then that would be a 3-6/10.

EXHILERATION: How much I was exhilerated basically. If I fly 200 mph over an awesome landscape and it feels exactly like real life then that would probably be a 10/10.

VIVIDNESS: Kind of ties in with the lucidity. This is how many senses are doing their job. If I can use all my senses just as good as in real life then it would be a 10/10.

ESTIMATED TIME: Well, basically how long it lasted...

      August 22, 2003 - August 23:
This was my first lucid dream ever. It wasn't that good, but practice makes perfect. So here it goes...
I was sitting at a dinner table with me and some other random people. I checked my watch, looked away, then look back and I noticed that the time rewinded 1 minute (during the day before in reality I was wondering if I would notice that in my dream). I checked it a few more times to make sure it wasn't a trick of the light. I shoved my finger through my palm to make sure I was dreaming because I didn't want to jump out the window and hurt myself. After that I leaned over and showed the person across the table. I said, "Hey look, the time changes." The hour was rapidly changing from 5-6-4-5-6 and so on. By now I was shaking violently because I think I was very exited. I ran toward the window and as I ran I saw a couch to my right. I touched it because I've only touched felt one thing in my dream in my life and I wanted to feel in my dream. I was too exited to stabilize the dream (the couch didn't really feel like anything) and when I jumped out the window I woke up. Waking up actually felt quite cool because I could start feeling my eyelids and my body came back slowly.
I rate this dream like this...

LUCIDITY: 6-7/10. I chose to do most things like touch the couch and I knew I was dreaming, but if I was more "awake" then I would try to stabilize the dream.
EXHILERATION: 5/10. It didn't exactly feel like real life, but I was incredibly exited I became (slightly) lucid.
VIVIDNESS: 2/10. Not vivid at all.
      ESTIMATED TIME: 30 seconds - 1 minute.
      Overall... 13-14/30

I was in a classroom at school and I realised that I was in a room full of people I didn't know.
So I got up and told the teacher that the lesson was boring.
I then tried to fire an energy ball from my hand.
Spurts of paint came out of my hand I said "What the?" and then I lost lucidity.

It wasn't long, but not bad for a first one.

LUCIDITY: 5/10. I could do what I wanted but had no real will to do anything else.
EXHILERATION: 6/10. It didn't feel real but since I became lucid it was very exhilarating.
      VIVIDNESS: 2/10. Not very vivid.
      ESTIMATED TIME: 30 seconds
      Overall... 13/30

The first time I remember having an LD was during a repeat nightmare. A huge rat was chasing me down my old street, and I knew exactly where to go. I wondered how I knew where to go, and realized it's because i've dreamt it before. The day before, I heard someone talking about flying dreams, and it had been a while since i'd had one, so i thought i'd take a stab at it.

I jumped very high, and fell back down. I love the falling feeling almost as much as i like flying, so I took a few more high jumps and falls before taking off for flight. My surroundings turned into a video game, though, and I got caught up in the game, so I forgot I was dreaming.

My first one was really uneventful.
I was walking around and suddenly knew it was a dream.
It took me all of 2 seconds to wake up at that point, but I still remember some of it now 12 years later.

It was featureless but amazing all the same. As soon as I realised I was dreaming a kind of unique atmosphere built around me - like happiness in the form of a pure energy

Dog craped on my bed in my dream and I got up to clean my hand. Went to turn on light but it flashed as if it had blown out. I looked at the light and it turned into a floresent light and flashed like crazy and I knew I was dreaming. Decided to try flying, so I jumped. Fell like a rock. I was pretty pissed off so I became less aware it was a dream and stuff went strange.

      LUCIDITY: 2/10. I couldn't fly, so I forgot it was a dream.
EXHILERATION: 6/10. At first I was really happy but then I fell.
      VIVIDNESS: 9/10. Extremly vivid.
ESTIMATED TIME: 15 seconds to 1 minute. I really have no idea how long it took for me to walk the hallway.
      Overall... 17/30
