      Jet lag and LDs

Has anyone found that travel/jet lag has triggered lucid dreams? It has happened to me several times, but I'm not sure why... It seems kind of counterintuitive to me.

I experience jet lag quite a bit, but it has never triggered any lucid dreams in me. I can theorize however that it has something to do with disrupting your sleep cycle, especially west to east travel more than 4 time zones. I find that I cannot sleep deeply or for more than a couple of consecutive hours.

It is this shallow sleep that probably accounts for it. How is the quality of your JLILD(Jet Lag Induced Lucid Dream)?

Are they long and detailed or just short and fragmented?
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

The dreams I've had occured on my trips to the Philippines, so yes, it's been quite a time change to adjust to.

The dreams themselves have been pretty short, and I tend to wake a bit and then fall back into another lucid dream a few times during the night. Interestingly, I've had more control in these dreams than in most of my other lucid dreams.
