      No lucid voice

      Hello,

I had my first LD last night, but when in it when I tried to say 'clarity' (because everything was quite blurry) it was as if I had a strained and sore throat. Is this normal?

And also, it only lasted about a minute or so before I woke up and I am wondering if there are any techniques to prolong the experience? The dream didn't gradually fade away so that I had time to do the spinning technique but instead it seemed to just stop straight away.

      Thanks for your time,
      Max

p.s I was using the 'FILD' technique (Finger Induced Lucid Dream)

Don't expect your first lucid dreams to be long. Just go with the flow, but keep doing reality checks all the time. When you actually look at whatever your mind has made up, you might get quite impressed

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had
