      First lucid dream :D

Yay, this night I had my first lucid dream

I was standing in an old house, 4th level I guess. It was a class for russian children, trained to fight in war. Suddently somebody said "Gun fire!!!" (in english, not danish), and everybody went to the basement to grab their weapons. As I got down there, I had no clothes, but my unders. I had been there earlier in my dream for another class, so I searched the area, to see if I could find my clothes and my weapon. Suddently I stop in the middle of the room. I look a bit around. I am standing half naked in a basement I've never been in, looking for my weapon for war. I am russian and... no that doesn't make sense. Suddently I just realise that I'm dreaming. I checked out my hands and they were very blurry, or bloomy. I was not totally convinced that I was dreaming, so I took another look around, and discovered that I had an interface (healthbar, armorbar and such), which made me sure that I was dreaming.

So yeah, I am lucid. I try to stay calm, and it works out. I look around. I want to touch the floor, so I crouch down to touch it, and then I see my hand is missing 1 finger. I want five fingers, so I close my eyes and focus, but as I open them again, I am in my bed. But I only open them half. So in the top of my eyes, I saw my dream and in the bottom, I saw my room - the real world. Very very weird actually . I close my eyes again, and focus on my dream. I open them again again, but then I am in my bed. I get up, and it's not a false awakening. I get on my clothes, fix my bed, turn on the computer and here I am

The dream was only a minute, probably less, but it was great. After 2 weeks of trying, it finaly worked out! I used no special technique. I woke up after 8 hours of sleep and went to bed again. I tried to FILD, but I was too, eh what do you call it? Morning tired? I was too "morning tired" to do a RC when FILDing, so suddently, I was in my dream. And that leads back to the start

      I am feeling really happy

Awesome job, Marvo! And hopefully you've learned now that closing your eyes in a lucid dream is probably not a good idea -- unless you want to wake up!

Indeed. But I really want 5 fingers

I've been a bit lazy with my journal lately though. I forgot to put a paper besides my bed, so when I wake up, go get some food and boot my computer, I don't remember anything.
But I will try to do the FILD tech this night/morning. I have tried it a bit already, but I can feel it will work this time.

But I was amazed how real it actually felt. I knew the feelings were real, but this was amazing.
I am really excited for my next ld, and this one ld surely motivated me, to put more into it.

By the way, I also listened to a hypnosistrack from www.remotehypnosis.com that evening. I don't really feel like it help, though it helps me before going to bed, to relax
