1 Hour Nap 2 Lucid Dreams

      Hey everyone..

I took about an hour nap today after reading some stuff on Dreamviews and I happen to have 2 Lucid Dreams...

      LD 1:

I was in my bed and I was like "This is a dream" I tried doing the Nose RC but my arms felt like they were paralized and i couldn't move them to get up to my nose.. I told myself to calm down and i Rubbed my hands but i woke up.

      LD 2:

The Second LD was Kinda cool because before having this LD I was honestly going to post on the Attaining Lucidity board about how like people notice things and ask themselves about stuff right before they realize they are dreaming..

Well I was out in this battlefield with these 2 soldiers and I recalled how amazingly well the Sun was shining off the guys helmet--The sun was at the point of going down--and i was like "Look at that guys helmet" I then told myself it was a dream but shortly after woke up

Anyway i have a question about my first dream..Ive had LD's before where i couldn't move with inside the dream I'm wondering why this happens and how I can fix it.

My second dream was awesome because I actually noticed a DreamSign that i can 110% positively say that is what got me Lucid!

so thanks for reading and thanks for the post

I wish I could get LDs during naps... All I get is some very vivid HI, almost as good quality as a dream, but I'm never really there. I'm mostly an observer.

When you are paralyzed, yell out loud that you are in control and you are the owner of the dream. Then you can probably move your hands. If not, try to imagine yourself in another place.

I don't know how to make yourself move, but what you are experiencing in the first dream is Sleep Paralysis (SP). Your body is in SP, and for some reason it transfers into your dream, causing lack of mobility. Anyways :bravo: on some LDs.

I actually just went back to sleep this morning for about an hour and had 3 LDs. That's happened to me before when napping too.

And about moving...it probably is sleep paralysis either transferring into your dream, or maybe you weren't fully in the dream state yet (in which case it would for sure be SP). If you think this happens when you're fully in the dream state though, I suggest verbal commands. Those work very well for me. You could say something like "My arms will move now!" out loud, and it should work.

Yeah, in the morning I usually have a quick nap (too lazy to get up) and I have these "dreams" where I'm half awake but can't get involved in the dream because I'll wake up. They are sort of like abstract thoughts (which are cool) but they have a storyline and other aspects of a dream.

I have this...but it's kind of like I am stuck between the dream worls and the real world....I see the dream but i also am aware of my waking body, and I cannot move it. I think it is the stage before comletely entering your dream world
