      Hello, I'm new here.

I attempted lucid dreaming like 2 or 3 years ago, and never actually succeeded. I've had lucid dreams, but never when I've attempted. The funny thing is, when I tried a couple days ago, I asked myself in the dream if I was dreaming, and I don't know what happened after that. My dream recall is going... well... okay, I guess. Okay, but I was going to talk about my experience lucid dreaming. The first time I had one, I was taking a nap on my couch. And for some reason, I realized I was dreaming. It was like I fell into the dream. I was falling through this grey space, and there was a hole at the bottom, and it was a portal into the dream. I remember falling through it, and being in this grassy area in front of my school. No one was there, but there were cars parked, and it was cloudy. I tried flying, but the best I could do was jumping extremely high. It was like Luigi on Super Mario Bros. 2 (For those of you who don't play games, he was just a guy that jumped really high on that game). My brother and I have always liked lightning, and thought it should be classified as an element (Like one of the 5 elements, not like on the table of elements). So I tried to summon lightning to my finger tips. It almost worked, but not quite. It was most likely my confidence. But after that, I remember some of my dream, but I was not lucid. It was really cool, and I would like to visit Lucidia, the city of dreams again. I get really excited :yumdumdoodledum: before I fall asleep, I keep thinking I will be lucid, but I never am, because of my dream recall, and stuff.

      Welcome!
Perhaps you did some kind of extra fast WILD accidentaly?
By the way, I have also tried to fly and only jump high as well, and that was in the first lucid dream I remembered. Perhaps it was because I was only at low-level lucidity. Perheps you were too?

Hope to hear from you again!
      From Stoat.

First WILD on 6th of August, 2006!
