      So basically, when I had the FA, and tried to do RCs, the RCs failed, so I assumed I wasn't dreaming, and even went on to write in my DJ, and I am wondering if this kind of thing has happened to anyone else, and how this could have happened.

      This happened to me, it really annoyed me when I woke up because I wasted a perfectly good opportunity for an LD failing RCs.

      This is common in lucid dreams, I find it is because the person having the dream is so convinced that they are awake, that They make the Rc's fail. In time, your mind will become more open to the fact that at any time you could be dreaming, and therefore, reality checks will work more often
      God, grant me the courage the change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference...
