The last two times I've become Lucid (my third and fourth times) I'm in the middle of being chased, the first time I was being chased by teachers in my old school, and when I realise I'm dreaming I keep on running, but whenever they catch me I wake up, I try to fly away but I can't. Then last night I was being chased by police men, and I became lucid and I tried to get some time to look at my hands like BillyBob says to do, but they caught me and I woke up again, it's pissing me off
      Lord of the Rings quotes:

"Behold, I am not Gandalf the Grey, whom you betrayed. I am Gandalf the White, who has returned from death. You have no colour now, and I cast you from the order and from the Council." - Gandalf to Saruman, The Two Towers

"Men of Gondor and Rohan, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of Men fails... when we forsake our friends, and break all bonds of fellowship... but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when all hope comes crashing down, but it is NOT this day! This day, we fight! For all that you hold dear, stand, Men of the West! - Aragorn

"Far off yet is his doom, and not by the hand of man will he fall." - Glorfindel

"in Rivendell there live still some of his chief foes: the Elven-wise, lords of the Eldar from beyond the furthest seas. They do not fear the Ringwraiths, for those who have dwelt in the Blessed Realm live at once in both worlds, and against both the Seen and the Unseen they have great power." - Gandalf

      Have you tried spinning?
It might be a good idea to try and change the scene to somewhere entirely different. Somewhere peaceful would be a good idea, so you stay calm.
We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true. - Woodrow Wilson

I suggest instead of continuing to run from your pursuers or to escape some other way, you should turn and face them when you become lucid. The most important thing is to remain absolutely calm, as this should help you avoid waking up. You might find that turning around to face them is enough to resolve the problem, but if it's not, try telling whoever it is that's chasing you to 'Stop.'

I keep getting chased in my dreams by monsters...well mostly my reacurring dream but thats beside the point.
What i do is change the monster's story. What i did was when i saw the monster i said to myself "He isn't a monster and he will not harm me" I said that with some cofidence and without fear and then the monster chaseing me then wanted to take a picture of my friend he was next to me. I remeber from a dream when i was being chased a texan boy with a cowboy hat come up to me and said " How do you know he will eat you, you control the story" and he is right. You control the story of the dream and the person chasing you. All you have to do is stand up to the chasers and think to yourself what is his story and change him or her. It dosn't have to be a big change just say they will not harm you with confidence and without fear and there you go.
Trust me its starting to work with me now and i can stop the monster infact that time around i basicly summoned the monster just by thinking he will chase me. Just change the story. Even in reality think to yourself that all chasers who chase you in your dreams are weak because you can add the story to them. I have thought to myself that the monster is weak in reality and now in my dreams the monster seems to be weaker.
Just say to yourself that those who chase me in my dreams are weak, when you are in reality and then change the chasers feelings and activitys in the dream. Think about it, if the chaser is weak and you think their weak then you only need a little lucidity to change the chaser completely.

It does help a lot to change the stroy.
Im not afraid of the dark, its whats in it.
*the lights turn off and the whole room goes dark*
Oh im fin- Ahhhhhhhh its a scary figment of my imagination.

The only things I remember getting chased by was some enemy spaceship chasing our ship beyond the speed of light. I just kept using my mind to accelerate faster.

Another time some stupid mechanical lips no more than 3" tall chased me and I ran for some reason.

Atleast you know what you are running from, whereas I usually don't.
